'Kuruvi' - don't even feed it to the birds (Review)

by Latestcinema.com : "Kuruvi", the first home production of Udayanidhi Stalin, Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's grandson and starring Vijay and Trisha, is not appealing fare.
The term "Kuruvi", meaning a sparrow, also denotes in Tamil slang a "carrier" who smuggles goods from abroad for shadowy bosses.
Vijay plays Vetrivel, a man who is out to take revenge from Konda Reddy (Ashish Vidyarthi, pure ham) and Gocha (Suman, why is he doing this to himself?) for betraying his father, Singamuthu (Manivannan) who mysteriously disappeared.
For some unfathomable reason, director Dharani, who has given hits like "Dhil", "Dhool" and "Ghilli", has decided that the second half of his fourth film should ape a recent Telugu B-grade flick "Chatrapati", which isn't saying much.

The
film is under production and nearing completion, shooting went
on well at Malaysia and other countries. Dharani - Vijay -
Trisha trio coming back after blockbuster "Ghilli",
it created expectations among distributors and film audience.
Vidhyasagar composing music. "Kuruvi" means
smugglers who smuggle goods from Malaysia and other countries
to India without paying the proper tax. Vijay's character name
is Vetrivel and a Tamilian who is living in Malaysia. After Sivaji,
Suman playing as a powerful Villain in this film. There are three
stunt scences with lot of graphic works to boast the image of Vijay.
Maniraj, the art director of the movie erected sets which resemble
buildings near "Koovam". The Cassettes / Audio CDs of Kuruvi
songs are selling like hot cakes in music shops..

Please dont talk anything rubbish about KURUVI.It is another movie for IDHAYATHALAPATHY "VIJAY" to express his acting,dancing,fighting and all other expressions. this movie is expected to run for 100 days and moreover. it contain's a lot of comedy in the first half and some punch dialouges with lot of action in the second half.... When it comes to acting, there's nothing much to expect cos u wont be seeing something different here. The same style of acting. When it comes to songs n dances, it is rather entertaining. my friends to buy the cassette or Cd through music shops and download
from proper websites by paying the amount. Why not the producers can
give online download options on the official websites by collecting
