M a mammokka fan ...yet da film fared poorly.....comedy was not unto the mark....achu was
boring...altogether is a flop.

I didn't c both Annam Thampy and innathe chinthavishayam two major films released for Vishu.But definitely knew the story line and saw the song sequences in TV.Both the directors Anwar Rasheed and Sathyan Anthikad known for repeated
subjects. Sathyan family subject and Anwar action comedy. Even the song sequences r total repetition of their previous block busters ''Rajamanikayam'' and ''Rasathanthram''.Rajamanikyam gave a huge impact that Mammootty's comedy and TVM dialect became so popular.It gave enormous mileage to Anwar and Suraj Venjaramoodu.But i believe now it is time for Anwar to come out of the hang over of "Rajamanikyam'' and this highly talented director should think of making worthy movies.

Director Anwar Rasheed who gave
blockbuster movie Rajamanikam with Mammootty is again coming back with star. Anwar's latest film Chotta mumbai with
Mohanlal was also a hit. Shahul Hameed Marikkar and Anto Joseph under the banner Marikkar Films producing this malayalam movie. The
specialty of this movie is, Mammotty playing dual role in this film as brothers, that'swhy the title Annan Thampi. Gopika and Lakshmi Rai are the two heroines, one for Annan and another one for Thambi. Benny P. Nayarambalam scripted the film. The story is about twin brothers Appu and Achu. Appu is deaf and dum, and Achu is a normal
boy. Sonu and Monu playing the childwood characters of Mammooka. Sonu and Monu
were selected after screening of nearly 160 pairs of twins at Kozhikode and Cochin.
Ragasiya has been used for an item song. As per Anwar Rashid the film is
a mass commercial with comedy. The film slated for April 11th. Which has to compete with
Mohanlal - Sathyan film.

Thambi a twins story ! good, nice to see the star in dual role. But i
don't think this film will be a blockbuster going to be a normal one
and nothing more reviews are all just biased ones. one more film in
mammootty's career that's all.
