Telugu film star Chiranjeevi is preparing for a mass launch of his new party in Tirupathi. Intellectual Forum, a NGO approached the supreme court to stop the public meeting and rally of Chiru in Tirupati, to protect the environment. But the apex court rejected their plea and allowed chiru to proceed further. Reacting to this, Chiranjeevi said " God and People are with us and no one can stop us in our way to achieve the goal". In the mean time, nearly 300 NRI's started a Maha Yatra to promote the party, they will travel through towns and villages of Andhra and will reach Tirupati on the scheduled day, nearly 5000 NRI's are expected to attend the rally on August 26th.

Hari prasad death, shocked Chiru :
Chiru told the media that his party name and flag will be introduced on the public meeting going to be held on August 26th in Tirupati. To increase their joy, film actor Rajasekhar and his wife actress Jeevitha met CM YS Rajasekara Reddy and congratulate him for the success in the election. "If the Congress party decides to field us, we are ready to contest against any personality. We are not scared of anybody," Jeevita told to media. As per sources Chiranjeevi is planning to contest from Tirupati city as Mr.NTR did in 80's after starting the Telugu Desam Party. Notice to Chiranjeevi in Pawan's case :
AP High Court on Monday issued notices to Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi and his family members in connection with the case filed by Pavan's Wife Nandini. Pawan Kalyan's wife Nandini, daughter of K.Chakradhara Rao, a businessman in Visakhapatnam filed a case against her husband Pawan Kalyan in the Chief Metropolitan magistrate court in Vizag claiming that her husband married another woman without divorcing her. CMM court dismissed the petition of Nandini for lack of sufficient evidence. Now, Nandini filed a petition in Andhra High Court challenging the Vizag court order and the AP High court issued notices to Chiranjeevi and eleven members of his family in connection with this case. Pavan's wife accused that Chiru and his family members supporting Pawan's second marriage. Pawan Kalyan and Renu Desai ( a former actress) admitted that they both were living together and had a son but not married as claimed by Nandini.

"Sorry Rajashekar" : Chiranjeevi
Actor and Director Rajasekar was attacked by a group after his statement stating that he would not join the political party to be floated by Chiranjeevi, as the latter had no political experience. On Monday morning while Rajasekar, his wife and Actress Jeevitha traveling in their car with their two teen age daughters were attacked by a mob of people and their car windowpane was smashed by the group. Jeevitha made a complaint in the police station against Chiranjeevi fans for the assault. After hearing the news, Chiranjeevi immediately went to Rajasekar's house and apologized to Rajasekar and his family members for the assault made by his fans. In front of the media people Chiru said to Rajasekar "You are my brother. Please forgive me," . Popular actor and former MP Mohan Babu and other film personalities also condemned the attack on Rajasekhar.

Chiranjeevi got a direct wish from music emperor A.R.Rahman, but on the other side, politician and CM of UP said "Film actors don't do social service, but can only sing and dance" in a public meeting. Bahujan Samaj Party leaders in Andhra tried their best to bring Chiru into their party label, but he has not made any commitment. So, through a public meeting, BSP chief Mayavati snubbed film actors planning to join politics, indirectly she attacked Chiranjeevi saying film actors can only sing and dance. Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi's father expired :
Megastar Chiranjeevi's father Sri. K.Venkata Rao expired on Monday. He was 76. Venkata Rao acted in a couple of Telugu films. Telugu film celebrities and political leaders beeline to Jubliee hills to convey their condolence to Chiranjeevi and his brothers Naga Babu and Pavan Kalyan. N.Chandrababu Naidu, TRS leaders, BJP leaders, Mohan Babu, D.Ramanaidu, Actor Balakrishna, Junior NTR, Venkatesh, Ramoji Rao and other biggies visited Chiranjeevi's jubliee hills house and paid their last respects to Venkata Rao. Chief Minister Y.S.Rajashekara Reddy is in Kadapa to celebrate Christmas and he conveyed his condolence over phone to Chiranjeevi.

Popular ( Tollywood ) Telugu actor Mohan Babu, who completed 30 years in his film career , announced he would launch his own political party. Mohan babu was expelled from Telugu Desam Party ( TDP) by Chandrababu Naidu in 1998 when he raised the banner of revolt for being denied another term as member of the Rajya Sabha. Mohan babu, acted in more than 500 films and he is the president of Movie Artist Association ( MAA ) and runs some social service organisations. He got his first break as an actor in 1975 with "Swargam Narakam" produced by Dasari Narayana Rao. His greatest hits include "Assembly Rowdy", "Kondaveeti Simham", "Major Chandrakanth" and "Peda Rayudu". He has also produced 44 films. Mohan Babu's sons, Vishnu and Manoj, have recently started making waves on the screen.
