Prabhas's Tollywood Chatrapati in September
S.S.Rajamouli is directing Prabhas for Chatrapati. A 25 day schedule was completed in Vizag harbor. Prabhas plays the leader of harbor workers. BVSN Prasad is the producer. Makers are planning to release the film in September.

Tollywood : Andarivaadu audio in May 1st week
As per the sources, audio of Chiru's Andarivaadu will release in May 1st week. Tollywood super composer Devisri composed music and Srinu Vaitla is the director. Except for 3 songs the production is almost completed. One song with Rakshita is in progress and the rest 2 will be filmed abroad on Chiru and Rimmi Sen .

NTR, B.Gopal's  Tollywood film titled Narasimhudu
NTR, B.Gopal's tollywood film for Sri Satyanarayanamma productions banner is titled Narasimhudu. Chengala Venkatrao is the producer. NTR plays the title role of Narasimhudu in the film. Sameera Reddy, Amisha Patel and Arti Agarwal are playing the lead heroines. Audio will release on 23rd April and film will hit the screens on 13th May.

Shradha Arya with Pawan Kalyan in Bangaram?
Reliable sources say that top Delhi model Shradha Arya will play the heroine in Pawan Kalyan's Tollywood movie Bangaram. Shooting will start off on May 11th at Hyderabad airport. Dharani is the director.

Allu Arjun, Puri Jagannath film in June

Konda Krishnamraju's devotional production venture Sri Ramadasu is launched on 16th April at Rama temple in Hyderabad. Nagarjuna will play Ramadasu. Bharavi penned the script. K.Raghavendra Rao will direct this film. About 20 songs will be there in this film. Most of them will be keertanas. Title song will be penned by Veturi.
 

Devisri Prasad reuses Tollywood SD tune, Sachin stalled and cleared
Devisri Prasad reused the tune of Tollywood cinema Naa pere kanchanamala from Shankardada MBBS in Vijay's Tamil film Sachin. Sachin is scheduled to release on April 14 on the eve of Tamil newyear. Highcourt issued a restraining order following a complaint filed by the producers of Shankardada. Sachin's producers agreed that the visuals will be shown without the song. Only background will run.

Allu Arjun's next film - Puri or Rajamouli?
Sources say that Allu Arjun's next film will be for either Anjana Productions with Puri Jagannath as the director or for MLK chowdary with Rajamouli as the director. Media is anxious about Allu Arjun's next project owing to his continuous hits.

It is learnt that though the film was launched with different storyline in mind, Balakrishna cameup with a novel story point because of which the story is changed now. According to the media, the story runs in the backdrop of village. Three heroines are listed for this film. Though not confirmed, one of them could be Trisha. Jayanth is the director.

Aryan Rajesh in Suresh prods Nireekshana?

Veteran Tamil actor Gemini Ganeshan passed away at 1:15 AM on Tuesday at his residence in Chennai. He acted in about 200 films in different languages. He got Padmashree in 1971. Known as Kadhal Mannan, Gemini Ganeshan was one of the top heroes during the 1950-70 time.

Director Teja and producers of the film Dhairyam lodged police complaint each other! Teja's wife filed a complaint saying producers are demanding 3 crores and producers complained that Teja is threatening them.

Soundarya's last film into Telugu as Nagavalli
Soundarya's last film in Kannada is getting dubbed into Telugu as Nagavalli. The film was a big hit in Kannada. Nagavalli deals with religious and scientific take on ghosts. P.Vasu is the director.

Allu Arjun is Bunny..powerful boy
As per the reliable sources, the title of Allu Arjun and VV Vinayak's films is confirmed as Bunny. Tag line is Powerful boy. M.Satyanarayana Reddy is the producer of the film. The film might release in April.

Pawan Kalyan's Bangaram from 6th January :
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Bangaram will start continuous shooting from 6th January. A.M.Ratnam will produce this film on Sri Suyra Movies banner. Dharani of (Dhil, Dhool, Gilli fame) will direct this film. Shooting will continuously go on until the April and the film will be in shape to release in June for summer. Vidyasagar is composing music for this film. Also, Pawan Kalyan's Balu is setting the stage to release on 6th January. The audio which released recently is alreay creating the pre-release rage.

Sri Raghava to direct Venkatesh: 
The new kid on the block is Sri Raghava. With the stupendous success of 7G Brindavan Colony, the director is in demand. If the sources are to be believed, a film with Venkatesh is in pipeline for him. Sanam NagaAshok Kumar of Sri Saideva productions will produce this film. It i heard that script work is going on for this film. 

MS Raju awarded Rajkapoor star producer award:

Sankranthi blockbusters producer MS Raju is awarded the RK (Raj Kapoor) Star Producer Award. The award was given away to MS Raju on 16th December, celebrating the 80th birthday of Raj Kapoor, at Ravindra Bharathi. MS Raju produced various films in Telugu which included successful films Satruvu, Police Lockup, Devi, Manasantha Nuvve, Okkadu, Varsham. OP Nayyar is awarded RK Musician Award on the same day. 

Audio of Alludu released :

Audio of Bharathi Pictures' Naa Alludu is released on 17th of this month in Araku. The event took place at AP Tourism guest house. Amisha Patel released the first cassette and handed it to B.Gopal. The unit of the film and K.L.Narayana, KS Ramarao, Paruchuri, Raju Hirwani, Kodali Nani, S.Gopal Reddy and others attended the function. Supreme Audio Company released the audio of the film. 

Rajendra Prasad as Pellam Pichodu : 
As reported by TT earlier, Jonnavithula Ramlingeswara Rao is directing Rajendra Prasad for a film to be produced by Sri Gayatri Cinema. The title of the film is Pellam Pichhodu. Srujana is acting heroine in this film. Jonnavithula is known to the Telugu audience as dialogue writer and lyricist. This time he is debuting as a director. Rajendra Prasad is doing a full length comedy role in this film. Story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics and direction will be handled by Jonnavithula.

Junior NTR hurt in car mishap :

Junior NTR, the top ranking hero in Telugu Cine Industry met with an accident on Friday Afternoon.. Jr.NTR's car reportedly hit a wall by the side of the road near a School at Tolichowki in the outskirts of the city while trying to let go a speedy motorbike coming in the opposite direction .He was hurt in the right leg.

Films releasing this Christmas and Sankranti in Tollywood:

This Christmas and Sankranti are a sure bonanza for movie buffs, the reason being- there is going to be a flood of films releasing this festive season. The films of almost every hero in Tollywood are scheduled for release in the coming weeks.The first berth is to be occupied by Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Vijayendra Varma’, scheduled to release on the 15th of December. Then there is Nagarjuna’s Lawrence directed ‘Mass Dammunte Kaasko!’ then in the cat race is N.T.R.’s ‘Naa Alludu’ directed by Mullapudi Vara. Next comes Pavan Kalyan’s ‘Balu A.B.C.D.E.F.G’ which is an Aswini Dutt production directed by Karunakaran. There is also Venkatesh’s ‘Sankranti’; Prabhas’ Krishna Vamsi directed ‘Chakram’, Nitin’s ‘Dhairyam’, Mahesh’s ‘Atanu’, Uday Kiran’s ‘Avunanna Kadanna’ and of course Tarun’s ‘Sakhiya Naato Raa’. Not only these but there are other films too which are scheduled to hit the theaters soon.

Vinayak switching the camera ‘On’.

She made her debut with the blockbuster hit film opposite N.T.R., ‘Adi’. She was last seen in Cakravarti’s disaster, ‘Kasi’ and that is none other than Keerti Chawla. Keerti is now making a come back tollywood in ‘Pelli Kosam’ with Sai Kiran.She also has Rajendra Prasad starrer ‘Iddaru Attala Muddula Alludu’. This film is an out and out comedy while her latter film ‘Pelli Kosam’ revolves round the hero’s marriage plans which lead him to hilarious situations.

Rajini’s film telugu tollywood rights sold for 6.5 crores : 

Rajinikanth can easily be termed the South Indian superstar as he has a superb business craze in all the 4 states. He is currently doing a film titled Chandramukhi, on the prestigious Shivaji Productions banner. The film also has thespian Shivaji Ganesan’s son Prabhu in the lead, and is directed by veteran P.Vasu. While Simran has been cast opposite Prabhu, a relatively new Malayali girl Nayanatara has been cast opposite the superstar himself. The latest buzz is that a USA based telugu person, who used to distribute tamil films internationally bagged the telugu tollywood exploitation rights of the film for a huge price of 6.5 crores. Rajinikanth’s earlier film Baba was sold for prices much higher than this and succumbed to heavy losses. The film though is termed a bi-lingual, the dubbed version will release on the same day in Andhra Pradesh. 

N.T.R with 4 heroines : 

Suryam : Suryam starring Vishnu and Celina Jaitley is presently in production. Samudra is directing this venture. Audio of this film will release on 14th of November. Shooting is almost done except for a song. Presently, re-recording is going on for this film. The makers are planning to release the film in December first week.

Teja eats his words :

Finally Tollywood director Teja too has eaten his words and has fallen to the lure of shooting songs in foreign locales. He is off to Cape Town in South Africa to shoot two songs for his latest film Dhairyam with Nitin and Raima Sen.

According to a latest grape vine doing rounds in the film industry, the actress who made her mark in the Telugu film industry with the film ‘ Rajakmarudu’, Preeti Zinta has been roped up as the lead opposite Prabhas in an untitled Tollywood venture.This film is to be produced by Prabhas’ uncle and former union minister who is popularly known as the ‘rebel star’ Krishnam Raju’s home production ‘Gopi Krishna Movies’. Insiders say that the venture has grabbed a very good script and that the shooting is slated to begin in the month of November.

Balakrishna’s next flick inspired by the life of a freedom fighter

Balakrishna’s next venture under Jayant’s direction is said to have been inspired by the life history of Rayalaseema’s great freedom fighter ‘Uyyalawada Narasimhaa Reddy’. It is said that this freedom fighter raised his voice against the Britishers much before the well-known Alluri Seetha Rama Raju came to the Indian freedom struggle scene. It is being anticipated that this flick would be ready for release by Sankranti 2005. It is very well known fact that every year Balakrishna makes it a point to have one film of his released for this festival and insiders in the industry say that his new venture will surely be a big hit in Balaiah’s basket.

Sneha in Bapu’s Radha Gopalam

Under the Sri Creations Banner with Bapu as the director and Srikanth as the hero and actress Sneha as the heroine the movie ‘Radha Gopalam’ is being produced by Anil Kumar. As per the producer of the film , the movie gives ample scope to the heroine to rise from the image of a glamorous role to that of a performance oriented role. He said that in Bapu’s previous ‘Mister Pellam’, the female lead had win many awards and this film too gives the actress a scope to win many accolades. He further said that it was very happy to make a movie with a veteran like Bapu and that the movie would surely satisfy the audiences. The shooting is scheduled to begin on the 7th of October starting from that day the shooting would continue in the months of November and December completing it and it would be released in the month of January next year. Anil informed that the music is being composed by Mani Sarma and that the song recording had already begun. He said that the shooting of these songs would be done on specially built sets at the Sarathi studios in the city. 

Thrill’s almost complete

Starting from the previous month the shooting was being done in Kakinada and nearby locales and it is done with 50% of its talkie part, the title song and other important scenes with regard to the fight situations have been shot.
