Compared to other Bollywood action films or sequences, I
think Dus tops them all. I'm a great hollywood action fan, but
even some of those are not as good as Dus. As for substance,
what action movie has? I especially liked the ending of dus,
where instead of all the heros defeating the bad guy and living
happily ever after, one of them dies. It gives it a more sort of
reality feel altho' sad, it was really good. All in all, It was
a great movie, worth watching.

it again and again. Vidya Balan is a fantastic actress and Saif

I have never expected such TRASH from the likes of Amol
Palekar and SRK. I am one of the "initials" for SRK
movies. For PAHELI, I was literally slavering - Wow, SRK by Amol
Palekar - I thought to myself. Little did I know! Why do each
and every one of our film makers feel "meri film zara
hatkey hai"! As the proceedings evolved on screen, first I
was flabbergasted, then annoyed and then down right indignant
about having spent my hard earned money on this! The film
does'nt have a story, lousy direction and absolutely trash
screenplay. Even if the makers argue that this is a
"folk-lore" so whaaat! There are millions of folk
tales out there. Many of them worthless, so will these makers
make a film out of these. The RAMSAY brothers' flicks were far
more tolerable as they did not pretend of "finesse".
The biggest hole in the story I felt was when the bhoot SRK can
see/foresee any and everything but just cannot see/feel the real
SRK when he returns and we have 2 SRKs. Let us ask Mr A.P. is
this what you call a story!! Just a few sequences bound
together? How in God's name can SRK agree to ACT in such trash
leave alone PRODUCE IT for heaven's sake! How can A.P. get SRK,
Amitabh and Rani for such a movie AND Naseeruddin Shah for the
puppet's voice over is beyond my imagination - I thought all of
them to be sensible. For that matter, I thought A.P. the most
sensible with his middle-class protagonist's movies! Moral:
NEVER EVER touch a movie made by Mr Amol Palekar, and never ever
be an "initial" guy for SRK flicks. After the LOUSY
KAAL, he has served this icing on the trashy cake!!

I thought this film was delightful. Magical, full of suprises
and pathos and humour! SRK was brilliant in the 2 roles. Mr B
was really amusing in his brief but delightful appearance. Well
done Red Chillies. Farah Khan's choreography was the best as
usual and the costumes were so colourful and happy, adding to
the magic of it all. I loved the Camel race too....it was very
droll and amusing. The puppets were a lovely touch too. All in
all this was a very different movie, but one to be enjoyed by
anyone who is still a child at heart,perhaps a bit of a romantic
and still believes in the magical things in life! I loved it!
