This is one of my 50 film scripts1)
Uncle Ji Da Dhaba:It is the story based on both the importance of humanism, emotional relations in life as well as decline of love n emotion in
some primary relatios and dominance of materialism, consumerist selfishness in the human relations. Uncle ji lives in a small town/kasba.
He has two sons. Elder is married. Uncle ji has a small dhaba/hotel in the town. His son and daughter in lawhave frequent fights with uncleji n his wife.
Thhey virtually take Dhaba n house of Uncle, Uncle n his wife r deeply pained. Younger son of uncle ji lives in a metro. He wastes lot of money, bigda hua. He wants
to become a fashion model. He does petty things like part of orchestra, dancing in parties etc. He brings hsi parents to metro n help him start small rehdi/dhaba.
Lot of entertainment is there. Uncle ji angry with bigda beta, sernavts in uncleji da dhaba are ultimate characters.
Son of uncle ji tells his workers to send their children to school. There are some child servants, uncle ji sends tehm to school in the morning n they work in dhaba.
Uncle ji da dhaba becomes a collective enterprise. Suddenly one day son of uncle ji dies in a accident in a hilly tourist place. Uncle ji is broken. He decides to close the dhaba.
But, there are number of emotional scenes n ultimately uncle ji da Dhaba is not closed uncle n his wife think that
all the servants n their child ate also their children. children continue going to school. Uncle ji Da Dhaba becomes Sanju da Dhaba. sanju was the younger son of uncleji.
