CURRENT PROJECT AS AN INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Project under Prod. : A 90min. Feature film (DV Cam – DSR PD170) titled “ANKAHEE….the unknown” (based on the Guy fascinated by the glamour of the film stars comes to the city to try his fortune only to land himself in dirty business of high society pros%itution racket). Shooting will complete on 31st July’ 2008. 

PAST PROJECT AS AN ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Period : 21st Nov. 2004 to 23rd Sept.2007
Role : Associate Director (Two Films), Associate Production Manager (One Film)
Project Completed : Titled - DT-1 (35mm - Commercial of budget USD 2.27 million) and “untitled” (ready to release – 35mm-Commercial - of budget USD 3.4 million). (Project details will be available upon request).

As an Associate Director

I was responsible for the interpretation of the script, auditioning and selecting actors, directing cast and crew, overseeing costumes and choreography, making of production breakdown, ground/movement plan, shot breakdown and working out camera angles, making and maintaining of Directional continuity chart. Also I was responsible for rehearsal of the shot for final take.
As an Associate Production Manager

I was responsible for Budget Preparation, Location scouting, finding and hiring crew both nationally and internationally; managing/scheduling technical aspects of production; creating/managing budgets; renting required equipment as necessary locally and on location; negotiating crew and equipment rates and supervising a Production Coordinator and Office Production. Also I was responsible for the budgetary control and making of monthly financial reports with the profit/loss statement due to delay/other reason in project.

As a Chief Asst.Director

I was responsible for the script and screenplay review, making of production breakdown, Ground/movement plan and shot division with directional continuity chart and co-ordination with cinematographer.

As a script writer

I have written one film script (Untitled) with screenplay and dialogues. Also I have written 98 and 52 episode of two serials (“Jeevan Ek Sangharsh Hai” and “Aashaon ke Deep”) and one tele-film (“Aakhri Sadma”) (later on banner has changer all the titles). 

Written Screenplay and Dialogues and Directed short film of 12min. duration titled “Kya Yahi Pyar Hai”.
