Mr. Robin De is a true- film buff who posses the dynamic leadership quality. He is a Science Graduate from Kolkata University and also a Diploma holder in Cinema Making with 3 and ˝ years course from WINGARD, Kolkata in March, 1990. He started his career as a freelance Cameraman and Editor, with a documentary film on different educational program for Literacy Campaign, Govt. of INDIA, followed by a host of scientific documentary and corporate film and gradually became a Director and Producer. 
 
He has worked in numerous numbers of projects as a Cinematographer and Editor for the last two decades. Gradually he became an Empanelled Producer and Director of I & CA, Govt. of West Bengal, West Bengal Film Development Corporation, National Council of Science Museum (Calcutta), ICAR, DAVP, IGNOU (New Delhi). 

International fame came to him in 2005 when he made Wangala. “WANGALA” – a documentary film on GARO tribes in the North east of the Himalayan foothill range, it was premier with very much appreciation in ‘Document 2 film Festival’ (September 2004) in GLASGOW, Scotland, U.K. and Awarded as ‘Special Mention’ film in the ‘Golden Gate Fiction & Documentary Film Festival’ (December 2004) in San Francisco, USA and as ‘Integral Realization’ in the ‘Honolulu International Film Festival’ — as a Photographer, Director & Producer. 

Robin De now owns a production house, RVC productions. The production house established itself as the final destination for all kinds of audio visual presentation. With the help of the best creative and technical professionals from the industry under his enterprising leadership, the sky is only the limit for RVC production.

RVC production has produced a complete Biographical film on legendary music composer & director Sri. V. BALSARA portraying his life & works for Television archive. This archival asset was directed by Robin De himself.
