I had been creative writing in English for the past 15 years and poetry being my forte. I got an international award and also publication. Some of the poems which I have written in English can be put to music. In the same manner, I have written some poetry in Tamil and can be put to music. Whether it is english or tamil, I write with some music which I have in the mind at the spur of the moment of the creation of the poem. Once I wrote a song in tamil for music and I felt that it has come out fairly well. Not an instant poet or a lyricist but with time given can bring out something original. |
