Though I haven't hit it big, I think those chances are on their way. I started the first independent Indian Radio station in South Africa in 1996 and since been managing it until 2006.I quit to advance in the world of music, to play live gigs, record, travel. I dig fusing jazz fusion, with Bollywood tunes and it's a great seller, but I want to crack something of my own. I think the global market is dominated and monopolised by a few music moguls in India and it's hard to make a hit recognisable if there's so much bollywood movie stuff dominating the market. Here's what I want to do, I'm looking for a real female popstar who move an audience with her looks,stage personality and of course be able to sing (not like Lata Mangeskar) but who can crack a melody pitch perfect. I have a great band, we're called Avikar' which means something like the pinnacle or apex. My best friend is the vocalist and he can make it happen wherever we go. So how about some international friends like you who are willing to take a chance and invite us to perform in your country.
