internationally renowed music director a r rahman will present the "jana Gana mana" indian national anthem at the inaugural CineMaya Media Group Indian & American Achiever Awards at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington D.C.

CineMaya Media celebrating the 60th independance anniversay function here in USA and recognizing individuals and multinational corporations (MNCs).

Indian music masteros like Dr. Balamurali Krishna, Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, Pandit Birju Maharaj and Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma will perform in the function.

The list of nominees includes for the awards are Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan , former US President Bill Clinton, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, A.R. Rahman, media mogul Rupert Murdoch, Infosys chairman N.R. Narayana Murthy, and author Deepak Chopra, among others.

i think it's one more feather in the cap of our beloved music composer a r rehman.

i am rahman fan, i love his music, he is something great. oscar award is just a feather in his cap. he is going to get lot of awards, and in future i hope there will be a award in the name of rahman for music talents.
