Pazhassi Raja, popularly known as the Lion of Kerala. Pazhassiraja was a king of malabar region in kerala ( 18th Century), who beleived to be the first king fought against Britishers for independence.
Malayalam mega star Mammootty starring as Pazhassi Raja in the historical film titled "Pazhassi Raja" directed by Hariharan.
Star cast includes Mammotty, Manoj K. Jayan, Padmapriya, Kanika, Thilakan, Sarath Kumar, Linda Arsenio, Kalabhavan Mani and Jagathi Sreekumar in other pivotal roles. Illayaraja composing music for this film. Kanika plays wife to Pazhassi Raja Mamooty and Padmapriya plays a tribal girl role.
The first schedule of this movie has been completed, the second schedule will begin this month in and around Kannur.
I feel that Mammootty's Pazhassi Raja will surely be a mega hit movie, as most of the indian people don't know about the freedom struggle by Pazhassi Raja, this film will bring out the participation of keralites in indian independence.

Mr. Major Ravi change our attitue towards Indian Army. Now we aware that people like mohanlal & Kochin Hanifa can appoint in Indian Army. Mr==Major please dont fool us. Kurukshetra is not a mohanlal film it is atypical Mammootty film. If Mammoooty acted in this movie it will be a mega hit.
If Pazhasi Raja is a flop don't worry his appearance itself is amaizing.

There is only 1% chance for Pazhassiraja to be a flop!I aqm a Mohan lal fan, yet I feel that this film is going to be a great super hit. I just saw the scene and sound grapbhics and that is amazing! This is going to give the malayalees a world class film!sure!
