Karz hindi film : remake of old Karz ! Will Himesh Reshammiya Win ?

Subhash Ghai's original Karz film was a super hit and the film is remade by Satish Kaushik with Himesh Reshammiya in lead.
Whether this film will be a success one ?

Ok Well, Why this question arise. Ram gopal verma remade the 70's Sholay and it is a big flop !

Now Satish is remade the Subhash Ghai's Karz.

And Satish told in an interview that Why not is Karz will be failure and told to "look into 'Tere Naam' look anything like the original Telugu film?"

Tere Naam may not be failure because it's remake of a Telugu film. The audience is different. Telugu audience not going to see the Tere Naam.

But in the case of Sholay and Karz, both the original and remake film audience is hindi speaking people. So, they will compare each and every scene in the new one with the old one.

Himesh Reshammiya compose the music and he is the hero of the film.

Original Karz film was tuned by Laxmikant-Pyarelal's songs, namely "Dard-e-Dil", "Om Shanti Om" and the theme song "Ek Haseena Thi" was a super hit one.

Now, Himesh going to use the same songs for the new film Karz also. Reshammiya, who sees himself as L-P's inheritor, insisted on having "Dard-e-dil" in the movie as it is one of his all-time favourites.

Let us wait and see which Karz will be in our mind :

Whether Subhash Ghai - Laxmikant-Pyarelal combination or
Satish Kaushik - Himesh Reshammiya combination.
