Amidst comedies and love stories, Farah Khan's "Om Shanti Om" revisits the reincarnation theme after many years. Trade analysts say it will work at the box office as it has all the right ingredients. And the main theme suits the Indian psyche.
Farah has teamed up with her favourite actor Shah Rukh Khan and newcomer Deepika Padukone in the film, which is apparently inspired by Subhash Ghai's "Karz".
The film revolves around a struggling actor, played by Shah Rukh, who falls in love with a successful actress. But before his love could blossom and his career flourish, he dies in an accident.
Apart from the rebirth formula, Farah has thrown in all the right ingredients, including humour, music and masala.
Om Shanti Om Shah Rukh khan's film releases on Nov 9.

Shah rukh khan beleives his goodwill will beat "big money" which has Sony Pictures spent for "Saawariya", After this Om shanti Om people will love me. And nobody is going to use the money to oust the goodness that I have created, SRK told a news agency. While "Om Shanti Om" has been produced under Shah Rukh's own banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, "Saawariya" has Hollywood studio Sony Pictures as co-producer. Both are releasing Nov 9.But Shah Rukh is all ready for the competition. SRK beleives he will get more money through the box office after the release of the movie ( yes, his guess is that the film will be 100 % super hit movie ), so that he compete with giants like sony pictures others in terms of money also.
The actor has plans to build his own studio. However, he will have to wait. "There is no place and nobody gives me the land!"
