Watch movies in home through VCDs & DVDs ! Films at cheapest rates

Films attracts everyone, from a kid to 90 year old people. Everyone will have their own taste, some will like Comedy films, some people like action movies, some like thriller, and for another set they may like romance pictures.

In the early stages, people have only one choice to watch films. That's in theatres. There will be huge "Qs" in theatre counters to buy tickets, and naturally will have some clashes.

In India and especially south indian film fans of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam movies have hero worship.

Film stars captured the ruling power in Tamil and Telugu.
In Tamil, MGR, Karunanidhi and Jayalalitha belongs to film industry and they ruled the state government, Mr. Karunanidhi is now the CM of Tamilnadu. Actors like Vijayakanth and Sarathkumar started their own parties to achieve the goal of CM post.

In Andhra Pradesh Telugu film fans made Mr. N.T.Rama Rao as their Chief Minister. And he was the God Man of Andhra till his death.

Malayalam film stars like mammootty and mohanlal still dominate the movie industry, but their fans and the people of Kerala won't allow film personalities to rule them.

In Kannada Superstar Rajkumar was the King till his death, but eventhough he directs the government for some issues he never into politics.

In Hindi Amitabh Bachchan still dominates the Bollywood film industry, it's all just like hero worship. Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam kapoor entered the film industry through Saawariya film ( yet to be released ), Anil himself entered the movie industry after Amitabh, but Bachchan still ruling the box office of Hindi movies.

In the 80's and upto Mid 90's Indian film audiences got another choice of seeing the movies, Video Cassettes was their gift to see movies.

After Mid 90s it changed to VCD. Anyone can watch a film in VCD through Television with VCD player or through Personal Computer (PC). That makes people to sit at home.

The main reason for home segments to watch films through VCD is
the theatre ticket fares. In "B" class cities a family of four could watch a film in theatre by spending atleast Rs 600/- in metropolitan like New Delhi, mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata it will more than that.

There are lot of difference between watching a cinema in Theatres and in Home. If you go to theatres you can watch the film in DTS effect with Visual clearance and clear audio.
But when you watch it in home the visual and audio clearance will be less. The advantage is price and your preference of watching at your liesure.

Moser Baer a company of developers and manufacturers of removable data storage media acquired 800 leading Hindi film titles to emerge as the dominant player in the home video market.

They are providing VCDs for Rs 28 and DVDs for Rs 39, this is chepeast prices for home video fans.

"The company's new division is close to acquiring copyrights and exclusive licence for more than 9,000 film titles in all major Indian languages, which comprises a third of all movies produced till date in India," he added.

"The company will release video content of these titles on DVD and VCD formats using its proprietary and patented technology, which enhances quality and significantly reduces cost," the statement said.

Moser Baer has already lined up over 475 distributors across the country and stocks will soon be available in around 100,000 outlets.

Now we are able to buy a DVD or VCD even in a petty shop. The musics and movies are in Digital quality.

It would be cheapest if you watch movies in home. Theatre owners shoudl consider of reducing the ticket rates, so that the people who prefer to watch in theatres can come, otherwise if you Moser Baer bring out new films for the same price it would be difficult for theatre owners to run the box office.
