You see, DTH operators is having no other way other than reducing their cost and monthly subscription charges.

in the mid of 90s when mobile phone service was introuced my dad purchased a cell phone for that he paid rs 16 per minute for every incoming call, yes incoming i mean it. if he was out of the state he paid rs 32 for incoming. that was a time.

now, virgin mobile giving some amount to the customer for every incoming call. this is another time.

in the begining the rates of DTH were high, now due to heavy competition they are decreasing.

even dish tv giving mobile dth service to indian railways.

they are the pioneer in this field. now shah rukh appearing in the tv commercials, so their sales will increase. a good competition. less price will be benefit for the public

it will be good if tamilnadu government give cable connection free of cost. now they are charging rs 100 per month. but don't know how many connectins they gave so far.  

dish tv was famous once upon time, long long ago, so long ago but not now  

is this company still doing business, wow, good, i think this is the first company in tamilnadu got into direct to home service and provided free service. ( note, i not used, but i saw some ads about this on road sides ) those days i planned to bought it but not.

I am planning to buy sun direct dth. Can get any Hindi / English news channel alongwith these free subscription you offer for 1 year ? 

i prefer cable tv than any satellite dth service, the reason is simple,

the cable connection cost us less and the tatasky cost atleast rs 300 to watch the same channels through cable connection.

go with our local cable operator and dont' go with dth 

SUN is the top direct to home service having 65 % of the total connecton. dish is not a major competitor in tamilnadu

sun tv dth ad is coming regularly in sun tv channels. espcially after the world cup circket started they are giving a sequel of ads related to this matches 

which DTH service giving new movies to watch on our tv for a cheap price. Tatasky charging rs 50 / rs 30 extra for a new movie to watch.

is there is any other Direct to home service provider providing cheaper rates
