Thursday afternoon was the perfect rendezvous when two icons who personify sports -
Reebok the world's leading sports brand and Sagarika Ghatge, the player who
epitomized competitiveness in the much talked about movie Chak De India, came
together on one platform. The occasion was the spectacular opening of Reebok's
First Exclusive Women's World store at DT City Centre Mall, Gurgaon, followed by
the grand launch of the all new Women's wear collection from Reebok.
Reebok India also announced that Sagarika Ghatge will now be doing a "Chak De"
dressing up in the all new Women's collection from Reebok and join the likes of MS
Dhoni ,Yuvraj Singh , Irfan Pathan as the new brand ambassador for Reebok.
Announcing this, Mr. Subhinder Singh Prem, Managing Director, Reebok India Company,
said, "We would aggressively be focusing on the women's category and plan to create
new product lines and launch women's only stores to befriend our women consumer,
there is a need for a brand ambassador who could make a sporty fashion statement and
at the same time command a mass appeal. Sagarika is known for her strong sports
legacy, she has been a state level champion in athletics and also a hockey player
during her school days at Mayo College. She embodies the pulse points of our brand
-individuality, authenticity and ideology. "
The evening started off with a ravishing fashion show with models sashaying down the
escalators along with show stopper Sagarika Ghatge showcasing the occasion usage
collection from Reebok. The highlights of the collection were both performance and
lifestyle.

the performance collection, the rugby collection, classics comprised the occasion
usage for street and club, thus showcasing the entire range.

De India also stood for sportsmanship, thus it's easy for me to identify with and

ambassador for the exclusive women's wear line, Reebok has taken another step in the
