ARR has constantly been giving great music and there is always a uniqueness and originality in his work. My all time favourite song is Rukumani Rukumani:) I was only 8 yrs old when I watched Roja and it was also the first film that I watched in theater. I still remember that the moment Rukumani song hit the screen, there were cheers from the crowd and the guys were dancing at the back of the theater. And hearing the song and the drum beats, I couldn't help getting up and dancing for the song as well! Imagine, someone like me who never even dance at home before and there I was dancing to the tunes of Rahman. Even today, I can still feel the beat of the drums used in the song.

As far as HJ songs are concerned, he does give melodious songs but he lacks originality. Songs like Poovai Vai Pesum (12B), Vaasegara(Minnale), Ondrai Iranda(Kaaka Kaaka), Annal Meale(Vaaranam Ayiram) are not only of the same genre but they even sound similar to one another. He needs to bring originality to his work.

Yuvan has the originality but he has more ups and downs as compared to other music directors. His set-back is that he's only able to score well when working with good directors like Selvaraghavan, Ameer and Venkat Prabhu. Otherwise his work is almost mediocre and his lack of interest shows in his work. He should stop doing masala films. They definitely do not boost his talent. Yuvan's best work...undoubtedly Kadhal Konden.

I am diehard fan of Harris Jayraj although my mother-tongue is Marathi. I like tamil songs of harris jayraj. Uyire Uyire is my most favourite song.

May I request you to be more mature?. Listen to songs of all music directors and air your opinion. Good business acumen, marketing skills, support of best technicians and very average music has made some music directors larger than great music directors. We are living in a crazy world where globalisation and commercialisation of everything has corrupted the minds of people to such an extent that they have lost their ability to identify the best from the trash. That's why honest(!) composers admit that everything should go to God.. Afterall they know they do not deserve the awards or appreciation they receive
