reasons for starting this company :

1. now, they are buying films from producers and showing it on sundays, festival days etc., for that they are paying to producers and get money through advertisers.

example : purchase a film telecast rights for Rs 2 crores. getting advertisers for Rs 3 crores. 1 crore rupee is profit.

but now : if they put Rs 2 crores in a film to produce
they can get back atleast rs 2.5 crores from theatre release and without any competition from kalaignar tv they can telecast it in their tv channel and get rs 3 crores from advertising companies. total profit Rs 3.5 crores.

that'swhy they started this company 

good start go and produce lot of films with new faces and give me a chance to sing in your films 

we should know one thing, sun pictures parent company is "Sun TV", the giant and dominant share holder of tamil tv industry. they can do anything with the help of their tv channels. only after the continous advertisement promos of "Kukumam" Best kanna best and other type new ad stratgies they got a major share in tamil weekely magazine sales too. the same for dinakaran daily newspapers, with their help of tv channels they are promoting their other products and make them no 1.

no sun pictures started telecasting the trailer of "kaadhalil vizhunthean" film starring nagulan in lead. the naaka mukka song is everywhere now, they will make the movie a great hit with their Top 10 movies and other type of promos.

i will bet that after the release "kaadhalil vizhunthean" will surely be in the top 2 or 1st position in top 10 movies of sun tv ratings.

so, with the help of their tv channels they will get an added advantage which other corporate companies don't have.

with their television arm they made a duppa movie into a box office success and got their money they invested.

the only one song naaka mukka is the basement for the movie, otherwise, it's not even worth watching.

they should thank vijay antony for the song hits.
