shankar started shooting the movie in VIT college vellore campus.

as sun movies announced the release on 2009 , they will do it. usually shankar will take lot of time, but now he is doing the filming in a very unusal manner. good for rajni fans.

rajni in double role, the stills of rajni without messai released in magazines and websites. i looked it. not very attractive to me.

a magazine quoted andhra fans who came to tamilnadu for temple visit gone to vellore to see the shooting and wonder how fair is rajni like NTR ? a good joke isn't.

its endhiran,and the movie was not accepted by sharukh bcoz he said to a magazine tat the script was very dull when compared to other shankar movies and moreover its a science fiction movie where a lot of logical mistakes can take place.our people didnt even encourage vaaranam aayiram and many said it was like an english movie,our people r stuck on to watching and enjoying masala movies,and endhiran takes on huge sum of money for its completion and to my opinion shankars shivaji didnt need much of money for tat simple story,he wanted to grab people s attention and i wish tat endhiran takes indian cinema to next level of filmmaking as well as viewing
