on the time of fast, sathyaraj indirectly attacked rajni for his pro-kannadiga stand. but rajni expressed his views and asked "uthaika veandama". at that time i also thought that actor sathyaraj is over-reacting to the situation and with some hidden agenda talking against rajni. but now, it's clear that there is nothing wrong in sathyaraj's speech. i hope atleast satyaraj won't back from his words. 

i just like to add another thing :

the real karnataka peoples are good peoples and they not taken rajni's speech wrongly, because they rejected the vaatal nagaraj through the election, whom rajni told as "chinna pasanga". then why rajni fe-ars and to whom he is asking sorry. unneccessary. he is asking apology only to a certain activist groups which is not having any people strength.

the real kannadiga public is always good peoples they won't mind rajni's statement.

In my point of view what Rajini has done is totally wrong. He should not get back on his stand. As a Fan of Rajini i am really disappointed very much. Its like by asking sorry only the film can run in Karnataka.
In Tamilnadu its not needed. 

There is nothing wrong in asking sorry to kannada people bcoz he had done mistake by hurting the kannada pple from his words as "should we not kick them". Being a such famous actor in indian film industry and more over he is from karnataka he should not have given that statement against karnataka pple.Now he realised his mistakes and asked sorry.I hope now his image has gone up to the sky.No need to think that now his image, popularity or dignity has come down bcoz he asked sorry to kannada pple.Not only tamil actor or actress it applies to entire world no one should give a Embarrassing statement against anyone.  

First of all i need to say i am a rajini fan, but i cannot digest this interview asking apalogy for what he has spoken for Hognekkal issue. What he spoke is right, he dint mention that he want to kick kannadians. he told the people protesting for water has to be kicked. I was very pround of rajini at that time. But when i saw some articles in news papers, i am really upset last 2 days. But i purchased the ticket before i came to know about this, if not i would have definetly had a second thought. Why is he speaking and now withdrawing, he is loosing his image slowly like cricket. I was a great cricket fan and player. I will sit before TV watch from first ball to last ball. now i never watch cricket. Its going to be the same case with rajini as well. Till before couple of days i wanted to see rajini and get autograph from him, but no more. He is spoiling tamilians prestige. RAJINI TRY TO AVOID SPEAKING IN PUBLIC MEETINGS ON BEHALF OF TAMIL. Hey Please leave him. Whatever he does and speak are closely watched. Its because of some people who wants cheap publicity takes his words and makes hell out of it. He didn't mean the whole kanadda people, but the particular group who vandalised tamil films showing theatres. Why is that? What did the tamil film industry do for the political crisis? Why the hell they are targeting the theatres? Can anyone give a convincing answer?
Why do they oppose tamil film industry? You people are talking about the business trick, do you think Rajini will suffer any loss if they don't allow to release the film. Only the producers suffer, because of that only he would have apologised. I don't know what they are going to get by behaving like this. Here I am refering "they" to some group who takes this oppurtunity to showcase their love for their language and state and not to whole kanaddiga people who are good.Otherwise they are nowhere. Why don't they show their love for the country. Rajini such a mass if he didn't speak anything here some tamil people same like "they" mentioned above, will target him. What he will do? Example: Tamil fishermen killed by Srilankan Navy,a Goverment employee was killed in the middle of the road on his way to office, agriculture students were burned alive in the bus when a political leader was arrested after found guilty and ordered by court,even after the tragic accident of school children who were cramped in a small school,(even now such school works),goes on.......... Can the shameful persons answer? When Rajini doesn't do or he does something the so called tamil patrons come from nowhere and shamelessly attack him.

If Rajnikanth wants to apologize because he wants Kuselan to be released in Karnataka. If he wanted other producers and directors to benefit from this he should have said aplogized earlier. P Vasu said he only said "Varutham" but the hokenekkal problem is not a problem of cinema neitheir is it a problem of tamil people. IT IS A PROBLEM OF TAMIL FARMERS. They are the poorest people in tamil nadu today. but if not them even the richest person in Tamil Nadu eats the food that Tamil Farmers produce. As Prakash Raj mentioned in Mozhi 100 day celebration a person who is in PUBLIC visible and Important, ONLY THAT person can make a change in the society. In this case tamil Actors directors producers everyone should worry for the tamil farmers and make some movement on it. The central government doesnt respond for this problem why because if tamil nadu was to get water its production and prosperity would increase and this would be threat in two ways one that the foreign businesss would increase in tamil nadu. Economic wise tamil nadu will be on top. And the second is that this would also let tamil nadu to think more about seperation. I don't know the apology and speeches of celebrities are big matter. This almost seems to me that tamil people in India are almost living in dream world. As author Balakumaran wrote, "beyond religion, language, race, caste, etc" only "humanity and the love toward only exists beyond everything" I am not asking tamil people become as tamil language extremists and hate other language people. But I am Sri Lankan tamil in our country the oppression and discrimination it all started off by these kind of issues today we Sri Lankan tamil are vanished from our own country to beg from other countries as refugees. One day tamil Indians should not have this situation before it happens be awaken as Sahtyaraja said. I am saying not fight but do as much as you can to fight for you freedoms and rights. Water is a nature it is for everyone. AND I FEEL SORRY FOR THE FARMERS rather than general madras tamil people or the fans who worship actors and actresses like god. Rajini has always been doing many public stunts. All for because of Money Not Enough. Initially he opposed one female leader and later that stance reversed during Baba release. Now apologise for what he said after such a long time...why...once again Money Not Enough (from theatres other than karnataka).

I decided that here after I will never watch this lame persons movie. I hope others will do same so that this guy will retire. 

Every one is speaking against Rajini now. But what I am saying is whatever he did is right. Because he clearly explained that he did not ask sorry. When he spoke about Okenakal matter. He should have explained that he wand to hit Vaattal nagaraj them gang. But he forgot to explain that. That’s why he felt and asked Apology in Karnataka for forgot to explained that. Definitely he did not ask sorry. Tamilnadu and Karnataka people also know about what Rajini tried to explain. Suppose if he did not give the explanation. What would happen? There would fight between Tamil Rajini fans and some politics party. We wand realize one thing when Rajini spoke against that party here. They burn Rajini image next day in Bangalore. That day no one is here to ask that.
He did not ask sorry for his film. That is not one mater to him. He solved the problem.
