you can built a temple for your superstars for their salaries, here in tamil movies only 99 % of the cost goes to heroes pockets.

ask your producers to do films with mamotty and others. they are far good than our heroes.

here the salary is 3 crores, 6 crores, 10 crores, to upcoming heroes and 25 crores for the top star ( guess who he is ! )

there with that 25 crores malayalam producers can take 2 films with mamooty and mohanlal.

Know, i don't think so. without superstars presence film producers will not be able to get back their money in the box office. whether a super star's film is flop or victory the producer will get his profit. how much would be a question.

jayaram after Veruthe oru bariya film success is now getting a new life. gopika's luck worked for him. jayaram's new film is samasthakeralam post a new film by director bibin prabhakar who gave hits like khaki and one way ticket with pritviraj. samastha keralam po will be scripted by gireesh kumar who script the veruth oru bharya. the film shoot will start from this month end

This is exactly the change one wishes to see in the industry all over India.
Anyways I am a trained theatre actor from Mumbai(born n brought up) but a malayalee at heart and have always adored the subjects taken up by Malayalam cinema.
I would like to work in Malayalam projects but here in Mumbai there are no co ordinators for regional cinema..
Can you throw some light and put forward some options to explore.

really a good descition.gave chance to new commers .i hope and belive that super stars are not the base of film industry they are the PRODUCERS because they are pumbing money for the industry .hence the decision are correct . 

we should welcome it, but in the reality we can't expect only such movies, here in kerala, only mohanlal and mammootty films are bringing the collection for theatre owners, so withouth them there will be no use for producers, but the producers decision to make newfaces as heroes and heroines is good, so we can have some hope to become a star in the future

As we all know that there are so many talented youths looking for an opportunity but there is a mind frame set that people and producers only encourage the old actors and due to which the new talented actors are given no interest.

I dont understand why producers and directors dont try to take initiatives to give chance to new faces as implemented in bollywood and hollywood. End of the day they need to understand that these old actors have to have an end and a new era should be brought up.

I appreciate this decision and hoping best for new talented faces.

This decision will not be successful
With out superstars there will not any super hit fim , last year there where hardly 1 hit film
Now in malayalam there are no actors who are good,as mammooty and mohanlal So the producers will change their dicision

but..who is listening this.....no one will be given chances....there is no more perosnalities like...Prem Nazeer,Satyan, Madhu, Thikkurrissy, Kottarakkara....who have never interferred in the entry of new comers.....and they have allowed space for new people. Otherwise there would have been no Mammootty...or Mohanlal...like people.

The old generation...who had a vision about continuity of the industry...world...they were generous to their youngsters. But now all 'greedy creatures' have occuppied the seats. No sense of acting but highly skilled in 'manipulation and cut-throatisms'.
This is unhealthy for the industry. And we can wait for this industry very soon set to 'Zero' like Kannada Film Industry. They too were having a good past....with good films. And now where is it? Similarly...if such anything happens to Malayalam film industry...no need of blaming others....or viewers....but the top 4 or 5 actors who doesn't allow someone to step-in.

Now it is up to the directors and producers to go for a CT Scan to test...whether they have something called 'Vertibras' in their system...

If they know only to serve the actors....we...the viewers and the well-wishers of the Malayalam Films may have to call them Asst.Actors/Associate Actors/or ...so...

Better is to leave all these 'nasty cases'. And who is going for films? some 'manufactured mass'...to fill the shows!

What a Fall?! and whose fault...let 'Amma', 'Achan' like many many 'mushroom organisations and pundits' sit and think...

beware...not in BAR's.

superstars should introduce new faces to the malayalam film industry through their movies, they can give them chance to act as second hero.

see hindi superstar amitabh, he is not acting as an young hero, but only in south india this is happening, amitabh doing roles suitable to his age, abhishek, vivek oberoi, or some other young heroes acting with him. they are the main heroes. so the films are also reaching all age audiences.

mammootty, mohanlal should think about this and should bring new young talented artistes and should feature them as hero, in their movies.

mammootty already started hunt for new faces through his mammootty super actor award in asianet, i welcome this. and should give cinema chances to young faces sir.
