It's all about money. Box office dedcides who's hot who's not. Personally, I feel it's time for Lalehttan and Mamooka to be more selective. We need new talent to come through. 

above 30 years they are the part of this filim industry and they acts under the direction of padmarajan,bharathan,adoor,sibimalayil and others and they have still the flexibility to do any charecters and they are very much dedicated to the industry . mohanlal and mammoty show there abilities several times and they won several awards that are the specciality of both actors . in the banner of these artist malayala cinema emerged to the world level they are superb ....... thats why malayalees are behind with these actors ........ One more speciality of malayalees they never accept changes

DILEEP IS NOT A YOUTH ACTOR,HE IS NOW ON 41 AND HE DONT HAVE MUCH FILMS AND MOHANLAL ON AGE 49 HAVE PLENTY OF FILMS(28 FILMS BOOKED TILL 2013).MOHANLAL AND MAMMOOTY KNOW HOW TO ACT OR THEY ARE BORN ACTORS.PRITVIRAJ IS A WASTE,ONLY GIRLS FANS WILL FOLLOW HIM.DILEEP AND PRITVI WILL NOT BE THE STARS FOR NEXT 10 YEARS.AFTER 10 YEARS,IF THEY ARE THERE IN THE INDUSTRY,THEY CAN TRY.

Actually Mohanlal is more talented & he deseves a higher position than Mammooty. But actually what is happening Mohanlal's Status,Worth & Value compulsorily or purposely tied up as same as Mammootty. This is doing by some famous Medias, Party Politicians & cast oriented groups. Mohanlal & Mammootty are coming from different religious groups. Some Medias & Political Leaders are thinking that if we give right status & position Mohanlal then those religious groups including Mammootty will be dissatisfied. And Mammootty also trying to stand along with Mohanlal as equal. And sometimes Mammootty shows that he is senior (age wise) than Mohanlal so that he has to get more attention than Mohanlal. But in the case of talent & Acting record definetly Mohanlal is No:1 & No:2.Mammootty will come only in 3rd,4th or 5th positions. But in Kerala it is done by these Groups to fix Mammotty along with Mohanlal unncessarily & protect their selfish interests. BUT MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE OF KERALA KNOWING THIS TRUTH. THEY STAND ALONG WITH MOHANLAL. Mammooty & his peer groups knows that. When these group will get chance they will try to diminsh Mohanlal to protect mammooty. Actually this makes the competition in between Mohanlal & Mammootty. This is not only two persons competition but also TWO PEOPLE OF GROUPS COMPETITION OF kerala. This competition helps these Stars to get more films in Malyalam industry.And people of Kerala are also part of this competition. WHEN THIS COMPETITION WILL END AT THAT TIME MOHANLAL WILL GET HIS DESERVING PLACE OF NO:1, AND MAMMOOTY WILL GO DOWN WHAT HE ACTUALLY DESERVES.UP TO THAT PRODUCERS & DIRECTORS WILL GIVE MORE IMPORATNCES TO THESE STARS FOR EXPLOITING THE BLIND SUPPPORT OF PEOPLE IN TWO GROUPS. 

malayalees give importance to good stories.if new actors act in good films surely malayalees will accept it.for eg.cycle.makante achan,nandanam,all these film was success because of good stories.mammoty's film like mayabazar,parunthu.love in singapore, was floop na.sagar.redchillies was avg.so malayalees is not running behind mammoty and mohanlal.

I would like to answer to ur question one by one...
1)there are young actors like pritviraj, dileep etc., why not malayalee support them.
Ans:Who told that Malayalees r nt supporting Prithviraj and Dileep?:-)Now u have asked this question itself is just becoz we have supported and we are supporting the young actors like Prithvi and Dileep..See we r encouraging them,that is why they have reached upto this year...otherwise they wud have have gone just like other actors...Around 2002-2004,only Dileep's film ws running successfully..Why??Anandhabadhram,classmates was a grand hit ..Why?that shows we malayalees will support for good films..If good films are cominng,Definitely we will make the film hit..Its not somnthg that we r not Prithvi and Dillep.

2)in tamil films, rajni and kamal doing films once in 2 years or 3 years. vijay, ajith and others doing 2 or 3 films a year.
but in kerala, mammootty and mohanlal releasing atleast 4 films each a year.
Ans:Mohanlal and Mammootty came up to this level becoz of their tallent and they have competed with big shots(old actors) at the earlier stage..When these 2 M's came up none of the big actors at that time moved away from screen..am i rite?
In tamil industry,Rajni and Kamal getting more money for 1 film and they can site in their house but in malayalam its not like that..its a small one...

 

Ithink mohanlal and mammootty were the most talented actors ever produced in indian cinema.now a days there is no other talented actor than them. 

In todays film Malayalam film world these two are the best.Young actors are coming up. It will take time for them to catch up and go ahead. I respect Mammooty and Mohanlal, but feel that still Sathyan in acting is superior to them too. 

Malayalees are running behind mohanlal & mammootty becoz of their acting brilliance.There is no substitute 4 them in mala.
Dileep & prithvi cant become superstars even after years & years.Becoz in malayalam there is one & only heros,the real super stars,& that is our Lalettan & mammookka. 

yes mohanlal and mammooty are legends...they did great job and they made acting look so easy.it is not easy to fill in their shoes and i dont think so delieep or pritviraj can pull it off.delieep is only doing some comedy films and its getting to be boring.actually why mohanlal and mammooty is so good because they had really good script and wonderful supporting crew..one thing which is lacking nowdays.mind u mohanlal and mammooty will also failing nowdays.
