Well Its an interesting topic. As you said Pritviraj is a good actor with talent and ofcourse an upcoming star but his films are not box office hit. He is not a crowd puller like Mammootty and Lal. Even when there were no opposition films during the 2008 onam festival time his two films- Thalappavu and Tirakadha could not pull the crowd. May be because the script was not interesting.
Pritvi acted well in both the films.

The malayalam film industry is still after the lagends Mammootty and Mohan lal. Dileep had already established a safe slot in the industry.

Mohanlal is also out from the movie Yugapurushan. previsouly mammootty accepted the role of narayana guru, but due to some reasons he was out of the film, mohanlal accepted to do the role of swami vivekananda, but now he is also out of Yuga Purushan.

mohanlal doing alexander the great , Yugapurushan director sukumaran asked mohnalal to take the moustache, but mohanlal new film alexander the great shoot is going, so the continuity will be a big concern. so decided to leave the period story.

the director said the scenes of swamy vivekananda will not be in the film and it will not disturb the flow of the mainstream of the movie.  

I thing it is jayaram because he is good family actor his veruthe oru bharya is a magahit film
