Malayalam lalettan's republic day movie is College Kumaran. Yes , as you guess the film's backdrop is college. Don't worry, mohanlal is not playing a student role ! ;-)
He is a ex military man and at a complusion he take care of his family owned canteen in a college. on one side looking the supervisior job in the college canteen and on the other side he is the "Big brother" of all the students in the college and he helps the youngsters in the college from studies to love.
Actress Vimala raman plays a professor role in this movie.
College kumaran is the second film by director Thulasidas with Mohanlal. Ramya Nambeesan and Samvrutha Sunil is also there to accompany vimala raman in college kumaran malayalam film.
College kumaran will release on Jan 26th 2008.
mohanlal, Vimala raman, Balachandra Menon, Nedumudi Venu, Ramya Nambeesan, Samvrutha Sunil, Risa Bava, Babu Namboothiri, Saikumar, Janardhanan and Siddique is there for the star cast
Music songs by Ouseappachan.
as i like malayalam movies, mohanlal's Flash with sibi malayil will release for christmas and this movie for republic day.

"College Kumara" atleast you will have to pass. laletan new films are getting into box as early as possible. laletan's selection is getting bad and he never mind about the scripts and it leads him to bad flops.

mohanlal's latest new film flash was a wonderful flop. so he has to hope with "College Kumaran" to hit the market again !
laletta please don't do the same repeat movies, do something new, flash is just like the Manichithra thaal. so atleast change your style in kumaran. awaiting the release.
