do malayalam films lack good producers and is there a lack in promotion of films before release

no, i won't accept good producers, there are lot producers ready to put money, but there is lack of stories. that's the main reason, mammootty and lalettan selecting weak stories and giving lot of movies a year, but i will say, they should minimize their films and should give quality movies rather than quantity.

I think what lacks most now in Malayalam films is the subject and script.In the 80s and 90s Malayalam films had the best scripts and the Identifiability factor with viewers was very high.Hence talents like mammooty and Laletten flourished..Now i guess they are being wasted...
