Do you know something,popular and record maker bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar's real name was Hema .
Snehasis Chatterjee, a big fan of the super singer lata Mangeshkar released a book titled "Lata Geetikosh".
This book contains lot of informations about the singer.
Do you know something, lata ji is not only a singer, but she is a composer, producer, and actress.
Lata Mangeshkar was named as Hema, when she was born.
She first lent her voice to Kiti Hasaal a marathi movie in 1942 but the song was not included in the film.
She acted in nearly ten movies, first one was Pahili Mangalagaur and the recent one Pukar.
Lataji produced a tv serial in 1989
She also composed for marathi movies and bengali songs.

i am working here in MP. OK., lata ji is a gift to india and indian music world. we should proud that we are living in an era of such a legend. i use to hear the songs of lataji whenever i am free from my work load.
