Kangana Ranaut says "Of course, i find him hot, Which normal hot-blooded girl wound not ?", she is not the only actress saying this, Mona Singh says, Dhoni is super hot and Divya dutta finds Dhoni very hot. "Dhoni is great at his job and he is a good ambassador of our country. He is well groomed and I find him soft-spoken and charming. 'Roadies', a good Road to enter Bollywood :
MTV's reality show "Roadies" seems to be a good road to enter bollywood. Shambhavi Sharma, a finalist of MTV's "Roadies" has now stepped into Bollywood through Ekta Kapoor production house. Suniel Shetty and Ekta producing a movie titled "The Little Godfather" and Shambhavi has been selected as the lead lady. The hero is yet to be announced. 

Aamir khan Ghajini : Asin and Jiah Khan

Aamri Khan's Ghajini is under production, South Indian director AR Murugadoss direct the movie. Actress Asin who worked in Tamil Ghajini is the heroine in Hindi too. Asin will show her face in the first half of the story and for the second half Jiah Khan has been signed. Nayantara did the role in Tamil. Several names, including Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut, had been tossed around for the part of Aamir's leading lady in the second-half, but finally Jiah Khan captured the opportunity.
                  

Aishwarya rai and Abhishek 1st wedding anniversary in Miami :
Film stars Aishwarya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's first weeding anniversary will be in Miami, Florida. USA. As Abhishek is shooting in Miami for the bollywood film "Dostana", Ash going to join him for the anniversary day. The first look event of much awaited "Sarkar Raj" film going to take place on the same day here in Mumbai and Ash & Abhi going to join the event ! How, the answer is through Skyscape, a new technology by which the young couple in Miami will take part in the event. Big B Amitabh will attend the event in Mumbai, Aishwarya and Abhishek will answer the media persons through satellite. The songs of Sarkar Raj will be release soon after this event.

Shah rukh acting and producing a film titled "Billo Barber", this film is a remake of malayalam blockbuster movie "Kadha Parayumbol". Billo Barber will be directed by Director Priyadarshan. Shah rukh khan will play the role of Shahrukh himself. And Irfan khan going to play the role of Barber. Juhi Chawla has been finalized for the role of wife of Irfan. Bollywood glamour girls Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone will appear for a song in the movie.

Model & Actor Upen Patel's respect towards his mentors :
Model and Actor Upen Patel is having lot of respects towards his mentors Suneel Darshan and Abbas-Mustan. Indian Born Upen raised in Britain and modelled for leading brands in Europe and in 2006 Directors Abbas-Mustan introduced him through "36 China Town" starring Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur in lead. Upen also worked with Vipul Shah in Namastey London and with Suneel Darshan in Shakalaka boom boom. Currently the model turned actor working with Govinda in "Lucky 2". He will be seen in the new film of Abbas-mustan as producers. Upen patel also will appear in a new film by Suneel Darshan. He says, "Suneel has given me so much love, He has just to ask and I'll do his film blindly". Last but not the least, Upen will also be seen in Ganesh Acharya's "Money Hai Toh Honey Hai". The dedication and respects towards his mentors making him to climb his ladder without any disturbance. 

Nisha Kothari is too young and it's funny for Raima Sen !
Don't get confused, Actress Nisha Kothari said that she is too young to handle love and actress Raima sen denied the reports about her link with cricketer Yuvraj singh and she added it's all funny. Bipasha basu happy with films like Race, Fashion, Pankh !
Bipasha Basu, the Bengali beauty is happy with films like Race, Fashion, Pankh etc., and not interested to go to Hollywood. "I am not ready to struggle for the career there, i already gone through my struggle" said Bipasha. The actress' next release is Race with Abbas-Mustan, releasing on March 21. Anil Kapoor, Saif ali khan, Akshaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif and Sameera reddy playing as co-stars. Race is a thriller movie and Bipasha said that she is playing a complicated character in "Race" movie and even every character is complicated in the film. Bipasha playing an imaginary character role in director Sudipto Chattopadhyay's "Pankh". Priyanka chopra playing the lead role in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Fashion" movie, and about "Fashion" film Bipasha told that she warned the director saying "please do not portray only negative things about the fashion world". This shows that Bipasha still having her roots in mind.

Amitabh Bachchan busy in Bhootnath, Sarkar Raj and God Tussi Great Ho : 

The Big B is busy in the shooting of Bhootnath, Sarkar Raj and God Tussi Great Ho. A recent report says that Amitabh would do a game show for a TV Channel, but a source close to Bachchan refused the report and told that Amitabh would not do TV Shows in the near future as he is busy in films like Sarkar Raj, Bhootnath, God Tussi Great Ho, and the source added that Big B was approached by TV channels to do soap but he refused to do. So, it's clear now that fans of Amitabh will not be able to see his face in the small screen, instead they should have to buy a ticket to watch his face in the silver screen. Bhootnath starring Amitabh, Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance. Sarkar Raj is the sequel of Super hit blockbuster movie Sarkar. Dance schools run by Choreographers in demand :
Getting film chance is not an easy job, but now youngsters doing a new trick to enter the film world, no confusion - it's a simple short cut method used by Darsheel Safary and Sahid Kapur who acted in Taare Zameen Par and Jab We Met respectively. Coming to the point, the short cut way is nothing but to join a dance school running by film choreographers. Darsheel Safary, the young preteen boy who attracted the audience with his cute and buck-toothed face in TZP movie made his entry to the tinsel town only through a Dance school. He is a student of a dance school run by renowned choreographer Shiamak Davar and he is the man who recommended Darsheel to Aamir khan, and Shahid Kapur the hero of Jab We met movie is also one of his student. As the talent hunts and reality shows growing in Indian Television field, it helps the youngsters to achieve their goals easily, and if a boy or girl join a dance school running by famous choreographers then it would be easy for them to get a first introduction to the directors. However, dancing diva Isha Sherwani's mother Daksha Sheth, who runs the Daksha Sheth Dance Company, said: "Today the youth want instant money and fame. So they take shortcuts like joining dance groups to be a part of the idiot box and the glamour world."

Bachna Ae Haseenon Ranbir Kapoor's New Film :
After Saawariya, Ranbir Kapoor's new film is Bachna Ae Haseenon. The film is 60 percent complete but Yash Raj Films, the Producer of the film had been struggling to find a suitable title for the film and now finally they got the title. Bachna Ae Haseenon was the title which was a blockbuster movie by Ranbir's father. Bachna Ae Haseenon having the star cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone, Minissha Lamba and others, the film scheduled for Aug 15 2008. Ranbir is not only good in acting but also a good Soccer player. Recently a Soccer match went on in Pune for a Charitable purpose, Ranbir played like a professional player and scoured four goals out of the seven. Bollywood team won the match. Actor Suniel Shetty praised Ranbir for the professionalism.

Second hero in ManiRatnam film ? :
Director Maniratnam's new hindi film starring Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan in lead will start rolling from Sep. As per sources, Mani is in search of another hero to play as second lead in the movie. Rumour travels that Ranbir Kapoor would be the second hero but as per Mani Sources Ranbir will not be the choice of Mani ratnam as the director is looking for someone who is elder than Abhishek. This made to another rumour that Madhavan, the favourite actor of Manirathnam would do the role, but Maddy denies the news and said his call-sheet is full and no dates available in Sep. So, who is going to do the role ?

Shahrukh khan's "Super Hero" film :
SRK the Indian Badshaah is getting ready to give Indians the Indian version of Spiderman. This film will be a gift to Aryan ( ?), son of Shahrukh khan, who is a great fan of FX films and SRK. This superhero project will start before this year end. Anubhav Sinha who directed Dus and Cash will be the director for this film. Shahrukh personally writing the script of the film and this new film will be produced by Shah rukh's home production house Red Chillies. This FX film will be a big budget movie ever produced in India. 
    

Juhi Chawla in Krazzy 4
Hrithik Roshan's father Rakesh Roshan's latest venture is Krazzy 4, which is scheduled for release on April 14th. Actress Juhi Chawla playing a Psychiatrist role in this film. As per Rakesh she will be serious in this film while the Krazzy 4 's are Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan, Rajpal Yadav and Suresh menon. Usually actress won't prefer to do a psychiatrist role but juhi playing this second time, previously she played the role of curing Govinda's mind in Deewana Mastana. Krazzy 4 film directed by Raja Sen. 

Jodha akbar not in Rajasthan :
Due to the protests by the Karmi Sena, a Rajput community organisation Director Ashutosh Gowariker's mega epic "Jodhaa akbar" was not released in Rajasthan. The theatre owners in Rajasthan fearing agitation by the Sena. The Sena need a panel to analyze the film before releasing in thetres. "After the screening of the film to the panel, the producer will have to delete the objectionable sequences and Gowariker will have to tender an apology to the Sena for hurting the feelings of the Rajput community. Only then will the screening of the film be allowed," Kalvi, Chief of the Sena said in a press meet. In the mean time the film experienced a lukewarm response in mumbai box office collections. Only 75 - 80 % collection reported from mumbai which is not a good one for a film which got media hype and large scale promotions starring Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan. As the film based on historical it failed to attract the youth audience and they not interested to see Hrithik doing the role of Akbar. 

Katrina Kaif's angry
Bollywood actress and TV Commercial model Katrina Kaif is angry over the recent news in some medias that Salman Khan slapped her and manhandled her. "Enough is enough, I have never talked about my personal life and don't intend to because I have always believed that what is personal is personal. But this is too much. The story that has appeared is utter rubbish and fabricated," Katrina said. Katrina Kaif currently doing Race, Main Yuvraj and Singh is King films.

Manyata accepted that she married Sanjay Dutt :
Manyata the close friend of actor Sanjay Dutt today accepted that she married Sanjay. Manyata Saturday admitted that she has formally married her long-time boyfriend, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt. Earlier on various interviews Sanjay denied the news, however there was also a news report that Sanjay and Manyata got married through registration in the presence of close friends and family members.

Darsheel Safary Filmfare Best Actor nominee :
The young little boy who made you laugh and cry through Aamir's Taare Zameen Par is in the race with Shahruk khan to catch the Filmfare best actor award. Recently STAR Screen Awards was announced and Shahrukh won the best actor award for Chak De India film, Darsheel won the best child artiste, but he was upset and said "I should get the best actor award because I am playing the lead role in the film. If I had been nominated in the best actor category, I would have been happier and jumped higher with joy". Now, he is having reasons to enjoy, Darsheel has been nominated in the best actor category by Filmfare Awards, he is running with Shah rukh khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapur and Akshay Kumar in the race for best actor. Let us wait and see who is going to win.

Mithya film : Acting dream makes a boy into underworld
Director Rajat Kapoor gave us Raghu Romeo and Mixed Doubles. Rajat now reaching theatres through his 3rd directorial venture "Mithya", it's a story about a youngster who dreams to become an actor and when he fails to open the door of tinsel town what happened to his remaining life is the story line. Mithya is a comic thriller. Ranvir Shorey, Neha Dhupia and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead. The story revolves around VK (Ranvir), who like thousands of others comes to Mumbai chasing big film dreams. But fate has something else in store - instead of entering glitzy and glamorous filmdom, he ends up trapped in Mumbai's infamous murky underworld. Mithya releasing this Friday.
     
First Hurdle to Jodhaa Akbar release ? 
First hurdle has been placed to Director Ashutosh Gowariker's historical movie Jodhaa Akbar by Rajput community in Rajasthan, they threatening to stop the release of the film in Rajasthan. The community says Gowariker has distorted facts in his film. As per Narendra Singh Rajawat, the head of Rajput Sabha, Jodhabai was not the wife of Akbar but daughter-in-law, moreover Jodhabai was not the daughter of Raja Bharmal of Amber but the daughter of Motaraja Udai Singh of Marwar and she married Akbar's son Salim alias Jehangir, if it so, she was the mother of King Shahjahan who built Taj mahal. Narendra added " Raja Bharmals daughter name was Harkabai". 

Pankaj Udhas new album "Endless Love - Kitni Yaad Aati Hai" :
Ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas new album has been titled as "Endless Love - Kitni Yaad Aati Hai', the album was earlier being titled "Ehsaas" but the team members decided to name it as "Endless Love". One of the famous American singers Diana Ross "Endless Love" song was a ever green one and Pankaj who inspired with song made it has his new album title to pay his tribute to Diana. "The song 'Endless Love' by Diana Ross is one of my childhood favourites. I still continue to listen to it on my iPod. My album, like her song, is for lovers and you could say that this is my tribute to her," Pankaj told in an interview. Panjkaj is not giving any preference to Cinema and like to do Ghazals only. Regarding his upcoming projects, Pankaj said: "I have recently sung a ghazal for Sanjay Chhel's 'Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam' which is due for release around April this year. Besides that, I plan to complete an album, which I left midway because of the demise of fusion maestro Anand Shankar with whom it was being made."

Amitabh Voiceover :
Amitabh will be doing the voice over for Jodhaa-Akbar, the film about Jalaluddin Akbar and his queen Jodha. Amitabh done voice over even in 1969 for Bhuvan Shome and recently did for Lagaan, Parineeta, Swami and other films. Director Ashutosh Gowariker said the voice of amitabh is needed to convey both the gravity and historicity of the era through the narration.

Salman Khan Wax Statue : 
Salman Khan made his entry into the list of heroes whose wax statue has been installed in Madame Tusaaud's museum in London. Bollywood star icon Salman Khan unveiling a wax double of himself before hundreds of adoring fans on Tuesday at the Museum Salman said ""I am really very touched that my fans have chosen me to appear in Madame Tussauds, and hope that the figure brings a lot of enjoyment to Bollywood followers the world over". Already Amitabh Bhachan, Aishwarya Rai bachchan and Shah rukh khan's statues are there in the museum, Salman's wax has been placed near the three in a bollywood section. The statue has been dressed in black sleeveless T Shirt and black Denims.

Aamir Khan a good director : L.K.Advani
After watching the TZP film, Senior BJP leader and the leader of opposition in Lok Shaba, Sri.L.K.Advani told the reporters  "Both the scriptwriter and the Director of Taare Zameen Par must be complimented, i have seen such a good film after years". Aamir Khan made arrangements for special screening of TZP to Advani and some MPs, at Prasar bharathi Film division auditorium on Friday. Advani was really impressed with movie and he could not control his tears after watching the story of a dyslexic child. He added that "Aamir khan done a good job by handling the story in a right way". Well, this would be a boon to Aamir, as his films has been banned in Gujarat over his support to NBA. 

Star Screen Awards :
Nokia 14th Annual Star Screen Awards has been announced and Shah Rukh Khan's "Chak De ! India" bagged the Best Film Award. Shah Rukh won the Best Actor award too for Chak De ! India film. Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par film bagged several awards, and Aamir khan shared the Best Director Award with Director Shimit Amin of Chak De India. Best Story award to Amol Gupte for TZP film, Best Child Actor to Darsheel Safary who acted in TZP, Best Lyricist to Prasoon Joshi for TZP, Best Supporting Artiste and Best Dialogue Writer to Aamir Khan for TZP. A.R.Rahman as the Best Music Director for Mani Rathnam directed "Guru". Ok, Finally who is the best actress ? It's none other than, Kareen Kapoor for Jab We Met.

Jodhaa - Akbar in 3 languages :
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan starring Jodhaa-Akbar will be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu too. The young director Ashutosh Gowariker's dream project is ready to hit the theaters on Feb 15th. After Lagaan, Gowariker doing a historical movie. In an interview Gowariker said that eventhough the film is about a muslim emperor and his hindu wife, keeping the young generation in mind he avoided heavy dose of Urdu language in the film. Director added, "I created Jodhaa Akbar with perfection and Every element big or small, from the texture of the clothes to the sets, décor, dialogues and the protocol, even the incidental sounds of birds and animals, they all had to be just right for me. I'm tired of filmmakers wondering where those good old days have gone. I wanted to reclaim those days. It took me two years of pre-production before I got into my first shot. " told Ashutosh Gowariker.

Sitar Maestro developed background scores for fashion shows :
Acharya Trigunateet Jaimini, a teacher at Mangalayata University in Aligarh developed a background score for fashion shows and art galleries jointly with a Vrindavan based Italian guitarist D.Turi. Acharya Jaimini is a sitar maestro. In an interview, acharya told that he has worked for several years to develop this background score which would be more appropriate to provide as background music in art galleries and fashion events particularly those showcasing traditional Indian attires. The scores, mostly duets played on the sitar and guitar, have been culled from Indian classical ragas. The music will be available at the Berlin fashion show in spring for the first time. 

Best films of 2007 as per Bollywood directors :
Director Raj kumar Santhoshi's favourite movie of 2007 is Imtiaz ali directed 'Jab We Met'. Madhur Bhandarkar and Sriram Raghavan's favorites are same, they selected Chak De India and Taare Zameen Par. Mira nair and Prakash Jha opted for Chak De India. Well, this year Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan proved their position and still maintain their top slots even new youngsters entered bollywood film industry. Shah Rukh khan's Chak De India and Aamir khan's Taare Zameen Par are the most favourite movies of this year.

Rahul Bose not a serious actor :
Rahul Bose just back from Kashmir after shooting Santosh Sivan's Dastaan film. He refused the rumours that he is taking over Samar Khan's directorial venture "Shourya" in his shoulder. "Why would i direct Samar's movie ? I happily find my own film to direct", Rahul told in an interview. "Shourya is entirely Samar khan film" he added. Rahul bose doing serious society based subjects like Shourya and on the other he is doing commercial films like Ghost Ghost Na Raha and Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam. As per Rahul, he is not interested to be branded as a "Serious actor". 

Jodhaa Akbar will release on Feb 15th :
Jodhaa akbar, a period romance movie starring Hrithik roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles. A. R. Rahman. is the music director and the songs would release on Dec 27th. Jodhaa Akbar songs are much awaited by Rahman fans. Jodhaa Akbar scheduled for Jan 25th to hit the theaters, but due to the illness of the director, the film release date has been postponed, and the new one is Feb 15th. Director Ashutosh Gowariker is bed-ridden due to back problem. He is doing the post production work from his bed set up in his office. Hero Hrithik Roshan is also taking medication in Singapore for his knee problem.

Vishwajeet Pradhan a delhi based theatre artiste who started his career in this industry with Shah Rukh Khan through the TV Serial "Fauji" is doing typecast villain roles. "Today, when I go back home folks look pityingly at me when they say, 'Look where Shah Rukh has reached.' But I'm not ashamed of what I've achieved. I'm a self-made actor in Bollywood. And when I see actors far more good-looking and talented than me struggling for a place, I feel quite happy with my place," said Pradhan. Reagrding the recent incident for Sanjay dutt Alibaug film, he says "When I got to know they just wanted me to stand in for Sanjay Dutt for some scenes, I decided to give this offer the pass".

Ranbir Kapoor's new film :
Ranbir after Saawriya, currently working for his second movie to be directed by Siddharth Anand. Ranbir appears in 3 different get ups in this film. A teen age boy of 17, another of 28 year old man and finally a 35 years old. Ranbir kapoor is 25 now, so the second get up of age 28 would be easy for him, but the young boy 17 and matured man 35 aged roles will be difficult. Bipasha basu playing one of the lead roles in the yet to be titled film .Ranbir took a day off for a photo-session to check out their on-screen compatibility. While the former had coloured her hair, the newcomer had cut his long tresses. For the younger role of the hero at the age of 17 Ranbir intends to sport long hair and a beatnik cool-dude attitude, with clothes and accessories to match. Ranbir also plans to sport stubble to look 35.

Title needed for a John Abraham - Aishwarya Rai starrer movie :
Director Sriram Raghavan looking for title for his new movie, and he can't able to find out the right one. He is now directing a love story produced by Rohan Sippy starring John Abraham and Aishwarya Rai. Music composed by tri Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy, "Unless I find a title for my film how can my music composers create a title song which I urgently need for my film?" Sriram told in an interview. Unlike "Johnny Gaddar" which had re-mixes of old songs, the entire score in Sriram's new film will be original.

Hrithik Roshan completed Jodhaa-Akbar and leaving for Singapore : 
Young Hindi actor Hrithik Roshan finished his part in Jodhaa-Akbar film which releases next month. Hrithik neglecting his injured knee completed the shooting of Jodhaa Akbar. He is leaving for Singapore to recuperate. The trouble in his knee began when he did some daring stunts scenes in "Krrish" and "Dhoom 2". Now, the pain cannot be wished away any longer and it is necessary for the actor to look into his health to finish his future projects. He is off to singapore to take 6 week break and will return in time for the premiere show of "Jodhaa-Akbar".

Rani Mukherjee have to pay Rs 2.1 Million ?
Actress Rani Mukherjee is in trouble regarding the controversial land she has bought near Shirdi. An inquiry was made regarding this matter by Ahmed Nagar Sub Divisional Magistarte. Rani's secretary and lawyer attended the first hearing. According to Land Ceiling Act, Mukerji will have to pay 75 percent of the market value of the land to the government. Mukherji has been summoned on Dec 31.

Dream girl Madhuri Dixit's comeback vehicle Aaja Nachle film's premiere show going to be screened soon in mumbai. She is busy in promoting the movie. Her husband is flying down for the premiere, but she says her sons Arin and Ryan will be missing the premiere show. Madhuri residing at Denver, USA, she says "I'd have liked them to be with me. But I didn't want them falling sick or getting jetlagged back-and-forth in such a short time. Besides, I wouldn't have been able to focus on promoting my film if they were with me." Casting a magic spell on the audience with his medley of Punjabi folk songs, Ishmeet Singh was adjudged winner of STAR's "Voice Of India" television talent hunt reality show. Madhuri Dixit and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar took part in the grand finale of "Voice of India" show, and Lata Manageshkar announed the Winner name after receiving and opening the evelope given by Madhuri Dixit. The finale took place in Andheri Sports complex. The Punjabi singing sensation defeated Harshit Saxena of Uttar Pradesh on the basis of audience votes. However, the total number of votes received by each competitor was not disclosed. 

Lot of new talents needed for Bollywood :
Director Subhash Ghai feels that currently Bollywood is in need of new talents. Subhash ghai's new film is "Black and White" and he introducing a new hero to mumbai film industry through this film. In an interview Ghai expressed that, Bollywood is starving for new faces for the main roles. This statement gives encouragement to new comers, atleast some support to their dreams for becoming a star in the near future. He feels that corporate houses, which pay exorbitant amounts of money to established actors, aggravate the problem. "Though the industry is expanding rapidly, the high price being paid by corporate companies to current stars is alarming. This will result in very high production costs with no guarantee of good returns," he said.

Music composer A.R. Rahman rocks Delhi
He came, he sang, he conquered. Music maestro A.R. Rahman spun a web of magic over his audience as he sang some of his all-time popular compositions, including "Khalbali" and "Pathshala", at his first concert in the capital. Although the open-air venue at Rajouri Garden in west Delhi was not packed Saturday, thanks to the steep ticket prices (Rs.500-Rs.5,000 per ticket), for the ones who were present it was an evening to remember. Rahman, dressed in a white sherwani, dominated the grand stage, which had LCD screens flanking both wings, scores of steps leading up to a tiny balcony on one side and was lit up by multi coloured lights.
"I hope you enjoy the concert," Rahman said as he started rolling out one song after the other leaving the audience spellbound and screaming for more. From classics such as "Roja" of the movie "Roja" and "Kehna hi kya" from "Bombay" to more recent hits like "Khalbali" from the movie "Rang de Basanti" and "Barso re Megha" from "Guru", and hit numbers of the blockbuster "Sivaji" to a musical score from the yet-to-be-released "Jodha Akbar", the audience was treated to a delicious musical fare. Accompanying Rahman were other singers like the pony-tailed Hariharan, Chitra, Madhushree, Sadhna Sargam and Delhi's own boy Kailash Kher, who have rendered their voices to his compositions in the movies. Ace drummer Sivamani enthralled the audience with his marathon-drumming spell. 
   

"Gabbar" Amjad Khan's son Shadaab's Highway 203 - thriller film :
Sholay's "Gabbar" fame Amjad Khan's son Shadaab finished his directorial debut film Highway 203, a thriller movie. Shadaab debuted as an actor through Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat film in opposite to Rani Mukherji, but left acting profession. In an interview he expressed his wish to be a script writer. "What keenly interests me is scriptwriting. I have 20 scripts ready. In fact, one of them, 'Sandhya', was made with Jackie Shroff and Raveena Tandon in the lead. The film never got released, though its director Sangeeth Sivan has become belatedly successful with 'Kyaa Kool Hai Hum'," Shadaab told in an interview. K K Menon and Perizaad Zorabian played the lead roles in Highway 203. 
 

Amitabh Bachchan gives clothers to Oxfam :
Bollywood Big B has donated a fabulous selection of clothes from his wardrobe to Oxfam, an international aid agency as Diwali gift. The clothes of amitabh will be sold through an online auction on Dec 1 to get funded. The Bollywood legend was inspired to donate around 50 items of clothing, including embroidered shirts, suits and jackets to the aid agency after visiting an Oxfam shop in London earlier this year. Oxfam is hoping to raise money from the sale of his items in order to fund the development work that the organisation does worldwide.

No sequel to Munnabhai in the near future :
Director Raj kumar Hirani is clear not to start a sequel to Munna bhai in the near future. He is planning to do serious movie on the corruption in the education system. The film, which he starts next year, "is a serious take on the education system and how it's scr-wing up the kids". It will star three young actors - therefore no Sanjay Dutt or Arshad Warsi, the mainstays of both Munnabhai films that were runaway hits. As the director need to prove himself that he can do movies beyond Munnabhai, he preferred to stay away from Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. 

Saawariya : Shortest film of Bhansali
Director Sanjay Leela bhansali's Saawariya is ready to hit the theatres. And this is the shortest film of the director. The movie run for 2 hours and 8 minutes. His last movie Black was just few minutes longer but without any song sequence. "Saawariya", with eight songs, is far shorter than the opulent and stunning "Devdas" which ran into three hours and 10 minutes with a mix of songs, dances and operatic drama.

Koena Mitra in Karn - international film
Dusky actress Koena Mitra is busy doing a lot of horse-riding and other rugged activities these days apparently for an international project, details of which she refuses to divulge. She is said to be playing a sensuous warrior with supernatural powers in an international film entitled "Karn" to be co-produced by Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC). She learned Tai Chi and other marital arts in Hong Kong in May and June. As Koena mitra is husky, dusky and athletic she has been choosen by Pritish Nandy Communication's American partners for the international project.

Music history by a 3 year old Assamese girl :
Making history is a difficult one for even older peoples, but a 3 year old baby makes music history. Asthajitananda Bordoloi from Assam has already etched her name in history by cutting a musical album under the banner of HMV Saregama India Ltd. By releasing the nine-track Assamese VCD titled "Tumar Ganor Kulaat", Asthajitananda is said to have become one of the youngest Indian singers ever to have an album released under a big label like HMV. Musical legend Bhupen Hazarika had originally rendered all the nine songs sung by Asthajitananda. 

Priyanka chopra in Drona and Fashion :
Priyanka Chopra the bollywood queen is busy in shooting of the film Drona. She got injured in Mumbai while shooting a stunt scene for Drona and again she got injured in Nambia while shooting for the same movie. Fortunately, her mother is there with Priyanka to look after her. As for signing Madhur Bhandarkar's "Fashion", she said: "The details, including my dates, have yet to be figured out. But, yes, I'm on. Though I'm not sure when." As per Priyanka she is still sweet 16. "Just work, work, work! Marriage? No chance for a long while. Psychologically I'm still 16." she added.

Jodhaa-Akbar is not a remake of any : Ashutosh Gowwariker
Director Ashutosh Gowariker denies that "Jodhaa-Akbar" is not a remake of any movie. It's a new one and it's director's 80 % own movie and 20% of history. Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai plays the lead roles in the "Jodhaa-Akbar" film. Talking about the pair in the movie, director says " There's a certain royal quality to Hrithik's face and body language. As for Aishwarya, she's to me the quintessential princess - straight out of Amar Chitra Katha - the distressed princess waiting in her chamber. Though we've seen her in so many avatars, as Jodha she's something else. Hrithik and Ash are amazing together".

Director Priyadarshan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa - Comedy cracker
Director Priyadarshan is humor specialist, Bhool Bhulaiyaa is the new film of the director and will hit the theatres by this friday. This is a remake of Malayalam hit "Manichitrathazu" starring Mohanlal and Shobana. The film has been remaked into Tamil as Chandramukhi Starring Rajnikanth and Jyothika and still running on Theatre crossing nearly 800 days. This is mysterious comedy, and the heroine character is more valuable than the hero. But, in Tamil Rajnikanth sustained his position as the super star by giving right place to the heroine and dominated the screen wherever necessary. Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav along with Shiney Ahuja, Vidya Balan, Amisha Patel and others. S D Burman Music Maestro
Songs of Sachin Dev Burman popularly known as SD Burman still in the minds of audiences. Tirupura government released a music cassette containing 20 best songs of Burman in Bengali and Kokborok languages. State music college has been renamed after him. Centenary celebrations of the music legend is going on in Tirupura, and a commemorative postage stamp of SD Burman has been released. On the occasion, the Sachin Dev Burman Memorial Award was presented to well-known singer Sadagar Debbarma, who has composed over 400 songs and played a pivotal role in popularizing traditional tribal songs and culture.

Music Composer Mithoon provides variety in the album, but one thing is common to all tracks - romance and passion.Arabian music makes its presence felt in the title track, "Aggar", which is a completely sensuous and dreamy number. With soft, seductive music and impressive beats, the song, sung by newcomer Hamza and Reshammiya's favourite, Tulsi Kumar, gives one a picture of what to expect on the big screen as well. While Mithoon's music gets a thumb's up, the highlight of the number is Hamza. A completely sentimental number with romance, pain and love oozing out of it is "Ke bin tere". Mithoon has not only composed it but also sung it. The lyrics by Sayeed Quadri are impressive and Hamza and Kshitij's backing vocals deserve special mention. 

Sanjay Dutt's Dhamaal : 
Sanjay Dutt's forthcoming release his Dhamaal. Sanjay plays the role of a police officer. The film is all about four lovable idiots. Director Indra kumar's Masti and Pyare Mohan told us the story of male bonding and his Dhamaal also travels in the same path. Ram gopal varma ki 'Aag', 'Darling' belong to different genres: Varma
Ram Gopal Varma is unfazed by scepticism that his two directorial venture "Aag" and "Darling" are releasing back to back."Do you mean to say people look at the director's name in the credits before seeing a film? How does it matter who directed 'Aag' and 'Darling' as long as audiences find the films interesting enough?" asks Varma. "Aag" will hit the screens Friday, while "Darling will follow suit the week after. "I'm now looking at the next schedule of 'Sarkar Raj'. All the work with the Bachchans in 'Sarkar Raj' is over. "Now I've to shoot scenes with the rest of the cast." Ramu hopes to complete the film in the next couple of months.

Bollywood seems to utilize Amitbah in all roles, the new one is a Victim role in film maker Ravi Chopra's Pocket Maar hindi movie. The film will start rolling by 2008. After Baghban and Baabul Ravi Chopra cast Amitbah Bachchan in Pocket maar. "Decades ago I directed him in 'Zameer', I couldn't plunge into another film with him just because of the rapport we share. The project has to be worthy of his presence. I'm now planning 'Pocket Maar' with Bachchan for early next year," Ravi . Amitabh plays a role of a pick pocket victim in this bollywood damaka.

Director Prabhu Deva in Hindi film Wanted Dead and Alive :
Choreographer turned Director Prabhu deva who gave super hit "Pokiri" in Telugu and Tamil is the director of the Hindi remake, the film titled as Wanted Dead and Alive. Bollywood star Salman Khan is the hero. Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor is the producer. The official choreographer of the film is Raju Sundaram, brother of Prabhudeva. But the buzz is that, Prabhu will make a token appearance as a good luck charm in the movie. Shooting of the film was already started on July 21st and two songs completed in Bangkok. The next schedule will be shoot in Mumbai, chennai and hyderabad. Ayesha Takia plays the heroine role. Asin played the heroine role to vijay in Tamil pokiri. Even though the basic theme of Original film will be there in the remake, the treatment will be different.

She plays the character named Durga.Sushmita rewinds to Jaya Bachchan who played Radha in Ramesh Sippy's "Sholay". As per Sushmita, "It's not that my character Durga doesn't speak. It's that inner tranquillity. And hats off to Ramu for signing someone with a strong image like me to play someone like Durga ... it requires guts and hindsight. Ramu has both". Sen is die hard fan of Malayalam mega star Mohanlal and she is very happy about sharing screen space with him. "I've stood in the same frame as Mohanlal. I'm honoured. Bipasha Basu isn't enjoying the way her relationship with John Abraham is being linked to her absence in the new Clinic All Clear men's shampoo ad, the brand they endorse.Regarding the speculation about John doing the shampoo ad with another model, Bipasha said: "When we signed the contract for the shampoo we didn't even know we'd be doing any of their ads together."

The shooting of Vidya balan and Ajay Devgan starrer Halla Bol has been completed. It has music and background score by Sukhwinder Singh, lyrics by Sameer and Mehboob, and cinematography by N. Nataraja Subramaniam. Post-production work is currently on in full swing. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi for producer Abdol Samee Siddiqui, the film also stars Pankaj Kapur and Darshan Jariwala. 
  

Alka Yagnik, Aadesh Shrivastava & Music talent show "Voice of India"
Alka Yagnik is adamant about her decision to leave the popular television music talent show "Voice of India" and is also unfazed by Aadesh Shrivastava's tirade against her. "My mother called from Mumbai, and she was very upset. I really don't wish to retaliate to his tirade. I have a charmed life," Alka said. "I've been blessed to work with veterans like Khayyam, Laxmikant-Pyarelal and Kalyanji-Anandji and newer composers like Nadeem-Sharavan and Jatin-Lalit.According to Aadesh, Alka refused to shoot with Sunidhi Chauhan for the show. But Alka says: "Let me clear this once and for all. Sunidhi is like my bachcha (child). I've always welcomed and encouraged new talent. In fact I'd like to train new talent."What happened was that they decided to change the format for segregating the judges and contestants. All I suggested was that we convert to the new format and then bring in Sunidhi and other celebrity guests. It'd be a pleasure to have Sunidhi on the show." Alka is also standing by her decision to quit
the show. "I'm not coming back to the show. Whatever I do in life I'd rather do it with dignity. I'm definitely quitting the show. I don't want to get into jhanjat-jhemela
(complications).
 

Sentimental singing for Abhishek : Bappi Lahiri
Bappi Lahiri, who has found renewed success after his compositions for "Taxi No 9211" were runaway hits, says he was sentimental when he recorded a song for Abhishek Bachchan in "Guru". "Years ago I had sung for Abhishek's father Amitji. It was a song titled 'Aana Jaana' in the film 'Geraftaar'. When I was called by A.R. Rahman to sing for Abhishek, I immediately went down memory lane, to almost 30 years ago, when I had sung for his father," said the versatile composer-singer. Recently he became the second of the three generations of Lahiris to record songs with the nightingale Lata Mangeshkar. His father Aparesh Lahiri had recorded with Lata earlier. Now, Bappi's son Bappa too will record with the singer. Bappi has also been signed by producer Pehlaj Nihalani to give music in a new film. "I've scored music for so many of Pehlaj-ji's films in the 1980s. It's good to be back in his cinema," says Bappi.

Amrita Rao spent a quiet birthday this year by visiting Shirdi with her uncle and his family. So no party, no merry-making? "For me, being with my family and praying for what I have is far more important than looking out for a good time," said the svelte actress, who turned 26 two days back. "But yes, I got more SMS' and calls to wish me on this birthday than ever before, thanks to 'Vivah'. The whole day I was busy replying to the messages and greetings." Amrita has just completed a Telugu film. "It's titled 'Athidi'. I'm paired opposite Namrata Shirodkar's husband Mahesh Babu who's the biggest star of Telugu cinema." Post her charismatic performance in Sooraj Barjatya's hit 2006 film 'Vivah', Amrita has been looking for the right roles. "Language is no barrier. SRK's Chak De India film : 
Shah Rukh Khan's much awaited "Chak De India", in which he plays an ageing hockey player, will be premiered August 9 at Somerset House in London. The entire star cast, including the superstar himself, will attend the world premiere of the movie. The premiere of "Chak De India" is part of the Film 4 Summer Screen programme and is also one of the highlights of India Now, a three-month season starting July 17, which celebrates London's growing relationship with India and exploration of India's culture and its contribution to London life.
