Horrible film. Rajini's worst. Even tons of make-up could not hide his age. Wonder how the film got a U certificate when shriya wears next-to-nothing in the songs. Tamilians must be ashamed that this is their biggest hit. But as long as there are morons who say "rajini looks sooo young at 57, superstar" etc., we will only get such craps.

hi guys and gals, i like the movie, but not upto my expecation. AVM, Shankar and Rajni combo should be some thing more than what they served us. There is no logic, we can see the movie only for Shankar and Rajani, i think Rajnikanth scored in the film, Shankar is not upto to the make, he compromised several thing for the Super star image. Anyhow, i am awaiting for the next of release of Rajni and Shankar. What's their next movie is? Million dollar question.

Shriya is looking good. i think she got a life after this movie, now she replace some heroines in the ads and she dominate in tv ads. shriya is glamour and i like her.

Mr.Mahindra, i don't know who's fan you are ? But i am Kamal hassan fan and eagerly awaiting the movie Dasavatharam, but in the mean time i like to tell you that Sivaji is not a flop movie, i think Rajni has done well.

Flop , THIS IS A REMAKE OF NAGARJUNA'S CRIMINAL AND MASALA OF SHANKAR TOGETHER. This is the worst movie of Shankar that I have see till now. I think Shankar is only suitable for Brib movies not for other types. But Shankar is not as Capable as Ram Gopal Varma. The songs are worst I think A.R.Rehaman has done worst with his worst music in this movie. First half is boring second half it is like a stupid movie. When Rajini fights with Suman in the last it is worst climax. THEY HAVE DONE FALSE PUBLICITY TO BRING PEOPLE TO THEATRE.

Be coool. Sivaji is all time best of Rajni but for Shankar ? the film is not upto the mark for Shankar. I think shankar has compromise himself to give a movie for raj.

Non one can beat thalaivar, is there is any scope about Rajni's next movie ? we are eagerly awaiting for Rajanikanth's next film. Some says that K.S.Ravikumar going to direct and some others says that P.Vasu what's your next film thalaiva.

This is the right movie for Rajni after chandrmukhi, Sivaji will beat all the records and will create a new one. Vivek comedy is the best and nice that he is on form. I like Vivek more than Vadivelu. I think Vivek has re captured his market again from Vadivelu. And i like to see Vivek's Solli Adipean at the earliest.

In fact all the songs are simply superb and Shreya performed well on all the songs. i like to watch the songs again and again. Thalaivare, we are awaiting for your next movie, will it come soon.

Rajnee's new look ie. the motta boss get up is choooo sweet. it's a manly look and a very different one. yesterday i saw Sun TV, they show about the makings of Sivaji. We people writing reviews without any hesitation but the programme made me to think how hard they worked to make this movie. They have not only worked hard but as per Mr.Thotta Tharini's statement in Sunt TV it shows how minutely they created the sets. Its wonderful. I heard that Rajni's daughter creating a animation movie "Sultan" with Rajni's animation character. i congratulate them for the success. Eventhough i from kerala palghat i watched the movie in Kovai theatre.

Superb job done by Shanker i seen Shivaji The Boss in fame ( Malad ) Bombay in Digital format the first time in India 4D Technology use for this movie. All Rajne lover must see this movie on Digital format. This movie get ranks from all the side great direction by Shanker, music by A.R.Rahman, first time know that Udit Narayan sing a Tamil song - Sahanna and the music gone a hit. Ill give my rating for this movie 100 out off 100.

well, the film is nice and i like the motta boss. but i think the film has been hyped much and the basic story is not given so much important. we not even got any solid information about Kamal's dasavatharam. they working without any publicity, i think Dasavatharam will touch a new height in tamil film history. and this is a good trend among our directors and actors to try some new things in technical aspects as well as acting. Thank you "Sivaji" and i welcome "Dasavatharam".

Greatest movie in Indian history.It's really tough or we can say it as not at all possible to reach the heights of Rajini in Indian history. Hats off to Rajini,The GREAT BOSS.

And Shriya is my new dream girl. She is so beautiful in traditional dress and also in songs with different types of costumes. But when i closed my eyes and hear the voice it resembles "Anniyan" Sada voice. Is in it ? Anyhow i eager to watch her in Vijay's Azhaghia Tamil Magan.

Please do not generalise or take it personal, this is purely my opinion. I understand how much we love Mr. Rajinikanth. I like him too and he has is charismatic characteristic which no one has in the industry.

I do agree with Siva's comment. Honestly, how many of you would like to choose Shivaji as the first preference when compared to Badsha, Chandramukhi and Sivaji or Gentleman, Indian, Sivaji.

I would surely put Sivaji in the 3rd spot. I know Mr. Rajani has a trend, but we have to admit that he has been breaking his trend and been giving very good performance movies. It is of no doubt that these different roles are well taken by audience.

After growing to a new level of achievement, I feel that Shivaji does not add any value to AVM, Mr.Shankar and Mr. Rajinikanth.

There is nothing in the screenplay or story which makes to you to sit in the chair for the whole movie except for Mr. Rajinikanth. The same issues like Astrology, Mr. Rajinikanth is being dark, Mr. Rajinikanth is being cheated and take revenge (do not you agree we have seen this before many times before in his movies).

Just to point out few weak storyline...I am confused now whether to believe in Astrology or not because the story says "do not believe in Astrology" but as the astrologer predicted, Shivaji indeed dies (ofcourse he wakes up later) then officially a dead person. In the climax, when Suman dies, I wonder why students are still paying so much money and studying in the college instead of Shivaji free colleges?

IMHO, I would rate 2 out of 5 (5 being the best) for this movie.

I saw movie and got upset with Rajinikanth. the problem taken in the story is very nice, but heroien, songs,styles are not supporting story. screenplay is very poor. I think it is not SANKAR's movie. I cant expect a movie from sankar.

So intense was the pre-release hype in the Gulf country that tickets were sold out two days before the film released Friday. Rajnikant has ruled the Tamil film industry for over 30 years. The actor's popularity has, over the years, transcended Indian boundaries. He has fans even in places as unlikely as Japan.

Subramania from bangalore said in this review "Kannada Rajini is number one in tamil films". This is a negative attitude. He does'nt belong Karnataka. He is 100% Tamilian. He belongs to Tamilnadu.
