Director Simbudevan's debut film Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi was a super hit
one at box office, it was a comedy movie with Vadivelu in lead. Now, Simbu doing is second film again for his Master Director Shankar's production house "S" pictures. Simbudevan has taken comedy as the base for this film too. There is no much news about the film. Prakash raj playing "God" role, Comedians Santhanam and Kanja Karupu are
doing the lead. Madhumitha is the heroine to Santhanam and Jyothirmayi to
Ganja Karupu. There was buzz that on the beginning of the film
shooting SimbuDevan preferred Vivek for the role but after considering the salary of Vivek
he changed his mind to put Santhanam in the lead. The film shooting is over and post production work is going on and the film would release on theatres this
February.

Shankar is very confident about the product. This will be a big
break through for Santhanam and Kanja. Definetely ChimbuDevan

watch shankar films and he is producing good movies too. we have
to proud that a tamilian is giving quality movies, after kamal
hassan and prakashraj, shankar sir is the only man who invest
his earnings in film industry. Other heroes and heroines depositing
their income in mandapams, shopping complex and colleges, some
other people buying lands without paying correct stamp duty to
the government.

It's
Shankar film and let us hope will be the best of Simbu. Trailers
going on and it's good to download the trailers to watch online.
Script is the base for anything, hope simbu will provide a film
script which give success and profit to "S" Pictures.

my memory is correct, Shankar's disciples Balaji Sakthivel,
Vasanthan, and Simbudevan doing movies only for "S"
Pictures. They should come out of the "Shankar" circle
and should do movies with others too. It will encourage new
producers to give small budget movies and the tamil film
industry too will fresh up. I like the comedy of Ganja Karupu,
Santhanam ? should change his double meaning dialogues as
mentioned here by another poster. Prakash raj is the best actor
after Sivaji, he can do any type of roles. Hope Madhumita and
Jyothirmayi will act atleast in this film rather than showing
their glamour skins.

Santhanam no doubt. If i am right , Santham started his career
in TV industry through Lollu Sabha. Now, gradually improving his
career from comedian to Hero.

Santhanam
is a fast growing comedian in tamil film industry and Ganja
Karuppu is the real tough competitor to vadivelu because of his
madurai slang. Karupu is doing well and like his comedy in
movies. Producer Shankar is correct on his selection of
directors and really doing a wonderful work to the young
talented directors who are trying to get atleast a chance to
enter the movie industry. Simbudevan's first film was really
nice but the negative side of the film was there was no comedy
in that film i can't understand what was there in the film to
laugh. but i hope in this film as two comedians are there it
would be really a comedy film to watch with children and family
members.
